@shellback1970 Dear brother i d like to say that TRINIY should be the most important message in bible, if it was true. It follows that God Almighty, the greatest sovereign of the universe would not have a superior above him. Would it be reasonable for ALMIGHTY GOD to say that HE has someone else to whom HE looks to as HIS god?
At Rev 3:12 The resurrected Jesus, occupying the highest position he will ever have, claims 4 times that he has a GOD.
Romans 15:6, 2 Corinthians 1:3, 2 Corinthians 11:31, Ephesians 1:3, 1 Peter 1:3 all show that Jesus' Father was also His GOD.
At John 13:16 Jesus states a fact: "The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him."
Earlier Jesus stated at John 5:36, "...the Father hath sent me."
Where was Jesus when He was "sent"? He was in heaven, as a spirit being, when he was sent. The FATHER (YHWH) was Jesus' God and as such, had the authority to SEND him.
The so-called Nicene Creed teaches, "I/We believe in ONE GOD, THE FATHER........" (not "one God, the Trinity..."). No denial of monotheism. Why is it therefore Trinitarian? Because the "eternally begotten Son" is of "one being" with the Father--they indwell each other--Jn 1:1; 10:30; 14:11; 17 (passim).
HUH? Eternally begotten? Nobody in the first century would ever think to make a statement like that. You would have to accept the Trinity and then read Trinitarian concepts in the verses that are not naturally there.

The trinity dogma was morphed over centuries by councils of ungodly men. God is ONE. This ONE GOD has a Son (who is not the ONE GOD).
However, the one we know as Jesus most certainly existed prior to his earthly birth, but not as God. What or who was he then? Malachi 3:1 gives the answer, but most people don't listen. He was the messenger of the covenant, meaning that he was a part of the angelic hosts. He "emptied himself" of this glory that he had w/ the Father "before the world was".
In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Say: He is Allah, the One and Only! Allah, the Eternal, Absolute ; He begetteth not nor is He begotten. And there is none like unto Him. Quran chapter112
I dont realy like the term 'unity of God' or 'unitarian. It suggests that there are several God entities which are 'united'. In all the quotes you quoted, they specified 'one God'. I prefer the term 'Oness of God' that there is only One God worthy of worship, he is the creator of the heavens, the earth, humans and all creation.. Its interesting to know that this precisly wt Islam advocates; (God! There is no god but He,-the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal) (2:255)

I dont really like the term 'unity of God', it suggests the assumptio that there are various entities of God but we believe that they are united. Its interesting that this is precisiely what Islam advocates; the 'oness of God'
bigcee22, Where are my answers to you? why are you stopping them? That is evidence that you are closed minded and don't want to be bothered with the facts that contradict your anti Christ bias.
Coincidentally, I am changing some things around on my account. A lot of people are saying some very profane things, and I control my channel and what comments can be allowed. I think that's pretty fair. Can't let idiots go willy nilly on my channel. You understand. You seem to be a very intelligent person.
Closed minded? Anti Christ? What are you taslking about sir. You don't even know me. I love my mother more than anyone on this planet. And let it be known that I love Jesus Christ I'sa alayhus salaam peace be upon him, more than I love my own Mother. Please sir, if you don't know the facts, don't assume.
John 2:22 " Anyone who denies the Father and the Son is an antichrist.* 23 Anyone who denies the Son doesnt have the Father, either. But anyone who acknowledges the Son has the Father also." John also said, "23 so that everyone will honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. Anyone who does not honor the Son is certainly not honoring the Father who sent him." You are anti Christ because you do not honor Jesus just the same as the Father. You treat Him less than the Father.
I do honor Jesus my brother. But you have to really study the bible and it's origin to really understand what was originally written, allowed, expunged, and changed. That is why it is paramount to understand Jesus' original language which is Aramaic, similar to Arabic. Read a book called Misquoting Jesus by Bart Ehrman. Then and only then will you see my brother.
bigcee22, The New Testament was originally written in koine Greek. So basically what you are telling me is that you cannot sufficiently counter my points using the Bible. You have to appeal to a book by Ehrman who basically says the Bible is all wrong? What proof do you have for this assertion?
Exactly, the bible was written in kone greek which further proves my point. Jesus pbuh never spoke greek. He spoke Aramaic. His disciples spoke umm Aramaic. Shouldn't the New testament have been written in Aramaic then. Bart Ehrman knows more about the bible than the both of us. Read the book then make a comment, and I have used the bible to counter you. I have not used one Quranic verse, which would be very easy for me to do. I have to much intellect to resort to name calling sir. Keep it clean
I never called you a name or spoke with foul language. I said you are damned because you are sending yourself to hell because you reject God. Jesus said if you reject Him as God you are rejecting God. The New Testament was originally written in Greek because the Gospel spread throughout the Hellenistic world right from the beginning. The first Gospel (Mark) was written from Rome to Gentiles and the first Epistle (Thes) was written to Asia Minor Gentiles. Aramaic was Jewish speakers in Israel.
You don't understand the bible. Jesus pbuh message was for the Lost sheep of the house of Israel. Not the Gentiles. Read Matthew 5:17. The verse speaks for itself. Jesus followed the law of Moses pbuh. He did not come with a new message. You keep saying the gospels were written by these non Aramaic speaking peoples, exactly my point. Remember 325 A.D. my friend. That's where Pauline christianity started. And by the way, Paul was a Jewish, christian hunting bounty hunter. Let's hear this defense.
@bigcee22 Have you read t whole bible? . and you will hear God speaking 2 you .U cant pick 1 verse n argue .U will know why christians say n believe in t HOLY TRINITY.Jesus is t "literally son .It means frm God .So ,where is t wife ? Its there ,t Father ,Son and t holy spirit. In fact ,ur koran has more visible use of trinity. Why is there a ,"WE " instead of I ,GOD! Pray n ask "t true God " 2 reveal himself that u may accept him n be reborn. Seek and ye shall find.
@Lancerlot100 Firstly, you must really be dumb if you think the Koran approves of the fake ass trinity. What does Almighty God say in the Quran? "wa-laa taqooloo thalaathatun" (Surah an-Nisa' 4:171) And don't say three. I was raised a christian and I converted to Islam in 2004. Read the rest of my comments you fool. The word We is the royal form of we not the plural. That's why you need to read it in Arabic. Just like in the bible the original greek is different from the English translations.
@idawidawaputtycat A piece of literature in itself is standalone; the example is what allows us to practise perfectly. Any person would understand this or the difference between giving instructions.. or showing someone what to do.
I love it how so-called christians don't read or know the bible. Where is the word Trinity in the bible. What does the word begotten mean? I cant wait for this explanation.
Hey Jeffrey0662. I won't be able to answer anything from you for the next few weeks. I'll be making my pilgrimage to Mecca. But you must be joking. John 3:16 of course says begotten. Now I know what you will say. It was a mistranslation it really means unique son. I'm one step ahead of you. Just go back to your sources and do your homework. And I know where you get your sources. All of you internet christian debaters quote from the same websites. I know what you will say before you say it.
bigcee22, Thank you for letting me know John 3:16 is where you are seeing "begotten". There are 26 places in the KJV where that word is found. I needed to know the context because actually the word (monogenes) is translated as "only begotten" there. I don't say that word is a mistranslation but an OLD translation. A better/modern translation is "unique" or "one and only". In the year 1600 English speakers would have understood the idiom but not today...cont'd
cont'd... My data sources come from credible published scholarship works. I can cite for you that at the Council of Nicea it was Bishop Alexander who indicated that the term "begotten" must be understood from a Jewish perspective, since Hebrews were the ones using the term in the Bible. Hebrew usage of the term is for the purpose of setting forth the preeminence of Christ. (Paul speaks in these terms, using the word "firstborn," not in reference to Christ's origin but to the salvatory...cont'd
cont'd...effects of His redemptive work [see Col 1:15,18].)
The Greek word monogenes was used of Isaac (Heb 11:17), even though Abraham had other sons. Therefore, the scriptural meaning of the word is "only" in the sense of "unique," "special," "one-of-a-kind" and implies a special love (gen 22:2). It is used of Jesus to emphasize that He is by nature the Son of God in a unique, special sense that no one else is or can be...cont'd
cont'd...It would be just as illiterate of you to argue that the compound word "monogenes" means only made as it would be to argue that the compound word "butterfly" means a stick of butter can fly through the air.
Let me go ahead and tell you that the word trinity was not made by the pure Crhistiams. Learn some history before you talk about something you dont even know.. the word Trinity is a Latin word.. it could not had been made on the bible... God is not three... Three are god.. its a whole different thing.. and let me remind you that we humans are compacted with things we do not comprehend, because if you still have in mind, god is not in part of Earth, our Universe.
@jeffrey0662 Where does it say you have to accept Jesus as God? It said you have to accept he is the one the Father sent and to accept him as Lord, not as God. Jesus never said I am the Lord your God. YHVH did.
bigcee22, Jesus said you are not honoring Him if you don't honor Him "just as" not less than you honor the Father. In fact, Jesus goes on to say that you are not even honoring the Father if you treat Jesus with less honor. In other words, you are damned.
Is it SO impossible to have '3 IN 1'? Thinking of GOD we consider the DIVINE nature. God's attributes are seen in the world created.
Let's take water which scientifically is 'H2O' by nature but EXISTS in two other DISTINCT forms. I drink WATER, walk on ICE, breathe in GAS. Operate differently yet they are one and the same in nature.
When drinking water, do you THINK there are '3' in the cup or 1? Water. The Father, Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit are ONE as God is One.
God is One. Christ is in the Father and the Father is in Christ. The Word was Christ and the Word is God. Christ said that he is I AM. There is One God. Christ is God incarnate.
The word Elohim has many different meanings depending on the context. Elohim is a form of respect when calling on God in the old testament. Like a king who gives a decree to the common people which commonly states "We decree". This the royal we of power not plurality. Obviously there is only one king, so why should he say we decree. It is the royal we, not plurality. The same way Allah swt says in the Quran many times WE. Obviously Allah is one, but again, this is the royal we of power.
There is no evidence of a "we decree" in the Bible. There is no parallel that you can find in the Bible to support your "we decree" assertion. There are many times 'eloyhim is followed by plural verbs in the Bible. Here are just two: Genesis 20:13: "And it came to pass, when God (Elohim) caused me to wander [literally: They caused me to wander] from my father's house
Genesis 35:7: "because there God (Elohim) appeared unto him" [Literally: They appeared unto him.]
Peace. Obviously you did not understand my statement. And it is also obvious that you do not know Hebrew. Elohim DOES NOT MEAN PLURALITY!!! It is a form of respect. The Quran in the English translation uses the word we, but it is not plural, it is respectful. How do you explain Genesis 16:10 where the Angel of the Lord said to Hagar, "I will multiply thy seed exceedingly" Is the Angel doing it alone, or is he doing it by God's permission. The Angel is an instrument of God. An agent. Learn Hebrew
bigcee22, That's real brilliant of you to appeal to the Koran to interpret ancient Hebrew Biblical text. What next, are you going to use graffiti someone spray painted on a bathroom wall to interpret the New Testament?
Oh so God speaks Directly to humans now huh? Humans can see God now too huh? The Jesus peace be upon him is lying when he says the following in John 5:37 then huh? May God Almighty preserve Jesus pbuh as the truthful prophet he was. As far as your other comment about God being an Angel. I guess God can be anything he wants then right? He could be a Volkswagen, a apple, or a laptop computer. Know the essence of God my friend. Learn Aramaic, Arabic, and Hebrew then come and talk to me I do.
The Hebrew word "elohim" [God] is in the PL form 2570 x in the Text. The ending "im" shows a plural of the majesty. Nice try but there is error all in your teaching. Notice the adj "one" this word STOPS Polytheism. See the Nelson study Bible page#5

If God judge’s u by the Ten Commandments will u be innocent or guilty? Heaven or Hell? Does this concern you?
Do u need a Savior from your sins?

@sunrisesotrue .Yes its big sin for muslims
to say 'unity of God' thats not true monotheism.Psalm- David, Torah- Moses-
Bible- Jesus,Quran- Muhammad PBUT are from the One and Only Creator.

@sunrisesotrue Yes cos the Psalm ,Torahs, Bible and Quran are all God's Scriptures.

Unity and oneness mean the exact same thing, sunrise.

I dont really like the term 'unity of God', it suggests the assumptio that there are various entities of God but we believe that they are united. In all the quotes you quoted there is a reference to 'one God' not the 'united God'. So I prefer the term the 'Oness of God' that there is only one God worthy of of worship, he is the creator of the heavens, earth, humans, and all creation.. Its interesting that this is precisiely what Islam advocates; the 'oness of God'

bigcee22, Where are my answers to you? why are you stopping them? That is evidence that you are closed minded and don't want to be bothered with the facts that contradict your anti Christ bias.

Why did it take over 25 minutes for my posts to show?
jeffrey0662 2 years ago
Coincidentally, I am changing some things around on my account. A lot of people are saying some very profane things, and I control my channel and what comments can be allowed. I think that's pretty fair. Can't let idiots go willy nilly on my channel. You understand. You seem to be a very intelligent person.
bigcee22 2 years ago
Closed minded? Anti Christ? What are you taslking about sir. You don't even know me. I love my mother more than anyone on this planet. And let it be known that I love Jesus Christ I'sa alayhus salaam peace be upon him, more than I love my own Mother. Please sir, if you don't know the facts, don't assume.
bigcee22 2 years ago
John 2:22 " Anyone who denies the Father and the Son is an antichrist.* 23 Anyone who denies the Son doesnt have the Father, either. But anyone who acknowledges the Son has the Father also." John also said, "23 so that everyone will honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. Anyone who does not honor the Son is certainly not honoring the Father who sent him." You are anti Christ because you do not honor Jesus just the same as the Father. You treat Him less than the Father.
jeffrey0662 2 years ago
I do honor Jesus my brother. But you have to really study the bible and it's origin to really understand what was originally written, allowed, expunged, and changed. That is why it is paramount to understand Jesus' original language which is Aramaic, similar to Arabic. Read a book called Misquoting Jesus by Bart Ehrman. Then and only then will you see my brother.
bigcee22 2 years ago
bigcee22, The New Testament was originally written in koine Greek. So basically what you are telling me is that you cannot sufficiently counter my points using the Bible. You have to appeal to a book by Ehrman who basically says the Bible is all wrong? What proof do you have for this assertion?
jeffrey0662 2 years ago
Exactly, the bible was written in kone greek which further proves my point. Jesus pbuh never spoke greek. He spoke Aramaic. His disciples spoke umm Aramaic. Shouldn't the New testament have been written in Aramaic then. Bart Ehrman knows more about the bible than the both of us. Read the book then make a comment, and I have used the bible to counter you. I have not used one Quranic verse, which would be very easy for me to do. I have to much intellect to resort to name calling sir. Keep it clean
bigcee22 2 years ago
I never called you a name or spoke with foul language. I said you are damned because you are sending yourself to hell because you reject God. Jesus said if you reject Him as God you are rejecting God. The New Testament was originally written in Greek because the Gospel spread throughout the Hellenistic world right from the beginning. The first Gospel (Mark) was written from Rome to Gentiles and the first Epistle (Thes) was written to Asia Minor Gentiles. Aramaic was Jewish speakers in Israel.
jeffrey0662 2 years ago
You don't understand the bible. Jesus pbuh message was for the Lost sheep of the house of Israel. Not the Gentiles. Read Matthew 5:17. The verse speaks for itself. Jesus followed the law of Moses pbuh. He did not come with a new message. You keep saying the gospels were written by these non Aramaic speaking peoples, exactly my point. Remember 325 A.D. my friend. That's where Pauline christianity started. And by the way, Paul was a Jewish, christian hunting bounty hunter. Let's hear this defense.
bigcee22 2 years ago
That's not what I said. I said the NT was written to Greek speaking Gentiles from the start. The Apostles (the authors) could speak Aramaic.
jeffrey0662 2 years ago
@bigcee22 Have you read t whole bible? . and you will hear God speaking 2 you .U cant pick 1 verse n argue .U will know why christians say n believe in t HOLY TRINITY.Jesus is t "literally son .It means frm God .So ,where is t wife ? Its there ,t Father ,Son and t holy spirit. In fact ,ur koran has more visible use of trinity. Why is there a ,"WE " instead of I ,GOD! Pray n ask "t true God " 2 reveal himself that u may accept him n be reborn. Seek and ye shall find.
Lancerlot100 1 year ago
@Lancerlot100 Firstly, you must really be dumb if you think the Koran approves of the fake ass trinity. What does Almighty God say in the Quran? "wa-laa taqooloo thalaathatun" (Surah an-Nisa' 4:171) And don't say three. I was raised a christian and I converted to Islam in 2004. Read the rest of my comments you fool. The word We is the royal form of we not the plural. That's why you need to read it in Arabic. Just like in the bible the original greek is different from the English translations.

I love it how so-called christians don't read or know the bible. Where is the word Trinity in the bible. What does the word begotten mean? I cant wait for this explanation.
bigcee22 2 years ago
It doesn't matter that the word "Trinity" isn't in the Bible. Does the Bible not exist since the word "Bible" isn't in the Bible?
I need to know what text you are seeing "begotten" in before I can answer that.
jeffrey0662 2 years ago
bigcee22, I am still waiting for you to tell me what Scripture text you see the word "begotten" in so I can answer your question.
jeffrey0662 2 years ago
Hey Jeffrey0662. I won't be able to answer anything from you for the next few weeks. I'll be making my pilgrimage to Mecca. But you must be joking. John 3:16 of course says begotten. Now I know what you will say. It was a mistranslation it really means unique son. I'm one step ahead of you. Just go back to your sources and do your homework. And I know where you get your sources. All of you internet christian debaters quote from the same websites. I know what you will say before you say it.
bigcee22 2 years ago
bigcee22, Thank you for letting me know John 3:16 is where you are seeing "begotten". There are 26 places in the KJV where that word is found. I needed to know the context because actually the word (monogenes) is translated as "only begotten" there. I don't say that word is a mistranslation but an OLD translation. A better/modern translation is "unique" or "one and only". In the year 1600 English speakers would have understood the idiom but not today...cont'd
jeffrey0662 2 years ago
(Paul speaks in these terms, using the word "firstborn," not in reference to Christ's origin but to the salvatory...cont'd
jeffrey0662 2 years ago
cont'd...effects of His redemptive work [see Col 1:15,18].)
The Greek word monogenes was used of Isaac (Heb 11:17), even though Abraham had other sons. Therefore, the scriptural meaning of the word is "only" in the sense of "unique," "special," "one-of-a-kind" and implies a special love (gen 22:2). It is used of Jesus to emphasize that He is by nature the Son of God in a unique, special sense that no one else is or can be...cont'd
jeffrey0662 2 years ago
cont'd...It would be just as illiterate of you to argue that the compound word "monogenes" means only made as it would be to argue that the compound word "butterfly" means a stick of butter can fly through the air.

What is the TRINITY?
Is it SO impossible to have '3 IN 1'? Thinking of GOD we consider the DIVINE nature. God's attributes are seen in the world created.
Let's take water which scientifically is 'H2O' by nature but EXISTS in two other DISTINCT forms. I drink WATER, walk on ICE, breathe in GAS. Operate differently yet they are one and the same in nature.
When drinking water, do you THINK there are '3' in the cup or 1? Water. The Father, Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit are ONE as God is One.
GreaterSolomon 2 years ago

Obviously Allah is one, but again, this is the royal we of power.
bigcee22 2 years ago
There is no evidence of a "we decree" in the Bible. There is no parallel that you can find in the Bible to support your "we decree" assertion. There are many times 'eloyhim is followed by plural verbs in the Bible. Here are just two: Genesis 20:13: "And it came to pass, when God (Elohim) caused me to wander [literally: They caused me to wander] from my father's house
Genesis 35:7: "because there God (Elohim) appeared unto him" [Literally: They appeared unto him.]
jeffrey0662 2 years ago
An agent. Learn Hebrew
bigcee22 2 years ago
bigcee22, That's real brilliant of you to appeal to the Koran to interpret ancient Hebrew Biblical text. What next, are you going to use graffiti someone spray painted on a bathroom wall to interpret the New Testament?
jeffrey0662 2 years ago
The angel who spoke to Hagar in Gen 16:10 is Jehovah (see v 13).
jeffrey0662 2 years ago
Oh so God speaks Directly to humans now huh? Humans can see God now too huh? The Jesus peace be upon him is lying when he says the following in John 5:37 then huh? May God Almighty preserve Jesus pbuh as the truthful prophet he was. As far as your other comment about God being an Angel. I guess God can be anything he wants then right? He could be a Volkswagen, a apple, or a laptop computer. Know the essence of God my friend. Learn Aramaic, Arabic, and Hebrew then come and talk to me I do.
bigcee22 2 years ago
The Bible calls that angel who spoke to Hagar "YHWH". Learn to deal with reality.
jeffrey0662 2 years ago
The Hebrew word "elohim" [God] is in the PL form 2570 x in the Text. The ending "im" shows a plural of the majesty. Nice try but there is error all in your teaching. Notice the adj "one" this word STOPS Polytheism. See the Nelson study Bible page#5
