I was 9yrs old and visiting Philadelphia when this happened and only was aware of it from a letter. When I returned, some of the landscape had changed ( my aunt's home was gone), & people were either boiling water or collecting it in containers from some of the mountain streams. This film helped put me here during the crisis.
Oh my gosh, they should not be throwing these things out! This is one of the reasons films get lost! Lucky you were there to rescue these priceless gems!
Looks like you've saved something that shouldn't be thrown out. The people at the library didn't know what they were throwing away. Why don't they try selling them or give them away??? Films like these should be saved and not be forgotten.

This is how I find videos. From people throwing them out. Lawn Sales , cable companies , etc.
