  • no problem. Yes, it has all this and it works fine on it

  • 1st 1, does it hav moviemaking, media player, and notepad?

  • I hav alot of questions

  • Does it even come with microsoft and thank you for reponding to my last comment.

  • does come with microsoft word, powerpoint, and excel or do we need to bye that seperatly.

  • you need to buy it seperately

  • what are the 3d rendering capabilities for this?

  • not really good.

  • it seems like this one is resistive touch screen. will the final one be capacitive?

  • well this was an early preproduction sample in February... i am gonna meet them again this week.

  • and the keyboard that they're going to use is not the same as the one on the prototype..

oh, i can't wait for the release.. anyone knows when it is going to be?

  • it just hit the store-shelves

  • yeah, i've seen it.. but it comes with the normal keyboard.. i had read somewhere that it would come with the chiclet one, like the Vaio's and Mac's..

for the price components ratio, i still prefer the HP tx2650 that here in Portugal is currently for 599€

  • wow... this looks really fragile and the touchscreen looks very unresponsive.

  • i think i still like the old linux version more.....touch screen is more likely to break

  • Oh, NO! I Hate Win XP. It is, like OS from 2002 or something.. :(

I would more like Linux installed and

that graphical interface working on Linux, like before..

  • thats not windows 7 GUI is it?, please can someone tell me, does the T101H the 10inch version have a HDD of 160GB or is is SSD 32GB like this one, and also how big is battery life on T101H also

  • it's Windows XP. And yes, i think it will also come with a HDD

  • does anyone know what the software is called? and can anyone tell me where to get it please

  • I want one right now!!! :D

  • Nice try Pin, it was an insult hence the "cool video still" indicating that his accent was distracting to you, but despite that fact, the content of the video was worth it. Being bilingual is incredibly difficult especially being as fluent as he is in his secondary language (english). He's incredibly versatile and intelligent as well as being able to provide some very informative information--in two languages. He's awesome, there was really no reason for you to make that comment, you're a dick..

  • lousy.

multitouch needs a revolution. not big icons and same old os.

    get real.

the only firm leading the way to gestual computing dat makes sense is webOS from palm (pre).

a mobile phone leading the way... sad.

  • what was that? i never seen someone do that beforethat was hilarious... i didnt see that one comming haha [=

  • How much RAM does it have as standard? I would want 2GB RAM and a fast SSD(does it come with a SSD even?) Thanks for the video.

  • 1GB standard, but the eee series have always been really easy to upgrade, and on older models I know they allowed you to do it without voiding the warranty.

  • Does this have multi touch?

  • no, but the T101 will have it. Plus a 10.2 inch display. This is 8.9 inch

  • Guy sounds like Scrooge McDuck. Cool video still.

  • yeah thanks for letting me know.. guess what the real problem is besides getting these comments. i have to deal with it :p

  • It wasn't an insult. I like the accent.

I think this touch eee pc is very promising. That interface is freaking crazy awesome. I'd get it.

  • Asus, are you listening? You already had me move from a xandros asus eee to a dell mini with ubuntu because of your bad policy of offering only crappy eee versions with linux :(

Still you have the chance to be a cool company and also bring out a netvertible with linux!

  • how much?

  • around $500

  • In this video, you said that it was coming out in Q2 2009, but in many other videos, it's very clearly specified as Q1 2009. Is there any official release date?

    Great video!

  • it's Q2 and i am sure they will announce the official release date during Cebit in 2 weeks. Thanks for your feedback.

  • The UK release date is late April if I'm not mistaken.

  • ohhhhhhh. at 4:15 he said, "pretty good god-damned device"!!!! ooooooooohhhhhhhhhh. lol.

  • haha. yeah i know. dunno what i was thinking. I guess i got a little bit too excited about it ;)

  • its all good. you were just really excited! I have an EEE PC 901 and i LOVE IT! I am using it right now. I finally came 2 days ago! from amazon...

  • the 901 is still one of my favorite netbooks. the batterylife is just amazing

  • I have had problems running puppy linux on it, but that was because i had an old puppy distro on it. I downloaded the newest version and now it has my resolution and wireless works! i love this for browsing the web and stuff. Otherwise I boot windows XP for everything else. And the battery life is AWESOME!

  • jaa ^^ 5 h laufzeit das gefällt mir.

    gutes hand on *top*
