You're just another one of those stupid, delusional RichRod hating Mountaineer fans who is mad because a great coach left your mid-level program for a tradition rich first rate school like Michigan. The Wolverines will own OSWHO and own the Big Ten under Rodriguez, and we will also win multiple BCS Bowl games and national championships under his watch.
Holiday may be bringing in more talent to West Virginia then RichRod did, but its not going to matter since Stewart and his coaching staff can't develop players like RichRod and his coaching staff can. Look at last season: Stewart and co. inherit a 6th ranked team with over 7/11 starters returnnig on each side of the ball, and they go fucking 8-4 with losses to Chris Johnson-less East carolina and 5-7 Colorado. WVU would have won 11 or 12 games last season under RichRod.
East Carolina, Colorado!!!!! Wow can u say Toledo or Appalachian State moron how about the ass whoopin OSU gave Bitchigan Rich Fraud was a fluke u'll see soon enough... Hail WVU Bitches
I'll say it again: Stewart and co. inherit a 6th ranked team with over 7/11 starters returning on each side of the ball. Michigan was ranked no better then 50th by all preseasonj publications. Michigan had two immobile, inexerienced quarterbacks in Threet and Sheridan, WVU had a 4 year amazing dual threat QB in White. WVU would have won 11 games again last season under RichRod, but instead they massively underachieved with Stewart
The only whining I hear is Rich Rodriguez continuously bringing up West Virginia. Why don't he just let it go?? Has he ever seen the Lion King? There is a part where the monkey its the lion in the head with a hammer. The lion asks, "why did you do that for?" The monkey says, "it doesn't matter, its in the past."
The West Virgnia whining is incredible.... this is a university that gives degrees to the governor's relatives, when they weren't earned and one that had a university president who was nothing more than a political hack. WVU isn't in the same universe as Michigan... and this is why coaches leave there to come to Ann Arbor.
Well Michigan has 2 real good QBs coming in for this year, in Tate and Denard, and Devin coming in next year, add to that all the skilled players coming to Michigan to go with all the talent that Michigan always gets, and i just dont see any problem at Michigan, its a great school and always will be, despite 1 off year, that was the result of top players graduating and key injuries on players that still was there. all is fine and will be..

Honestly, I feel for the Michigan fans. If I were a Wolverine fan, I would have thought from WVU's record that I was getting a great coach. Unfortunately for them, Pat White was not part of a package deal. With Slaton and Schmitt, Pat made RR look pretty good. I doubt he'll win a Big Ten title or BCS bowl in his time at UM. That's not being venomous. I just believe that to be the case. Time will tell.
WVUboy: The only way WV was good the last several year was because of Rich Rod and Barwis. RR built your program to a powerhouse. Now you're a mediocre team. Yes Pat White and Slaton developed into great players. However if it wasn't for Barwis and RR they would have been just average. I will look for your program to decline in the next couple years.
dont believe so buddy, coach rod wasnt even smart enough to start pat and stevie he benched them both if bednairk didnt get hurt and pernell didnt have issues holding on to the ball then rod is on the hot seat at wvu
Better to be one play away from the national championship game and fall short then go 8-4 like you bitches did under Stewart.
Okay, so Slaton started NO.3 on the depth chart. He obviously quickly worked his way to the top, just like Mike Hart did in 2004. For you to blame RichRod for not starting slaton off the bat is just stupid.
Indeed, RichRod and his staff never bought in alot of blue chip recruits while at WVU, but then again, who does? RichRod has bought in boatloads of talent to Michigan: his first two classes were both top 10 classes comprised of over 25 four star prospects and 1 five star. Most importantly, these two classes are loaded with speed, which is the key ingredient in todays college game. The future of the Wolverines could not be brighter.
I don't give a shit if his playbook only has 3 plays (which it doesn't). Aside from the fact that the triple option out of the shotgun never gets old, as long as Michigan is winning and scoring lots of points, I don't care how may plays he has in his playbook. RichRod will make the Wolverines a Big Ten dynasty that will win multiple BCS Bowl games and national championships over the next 20 years.
Mark my words here, he will not beat terrelle pryor. Actually, i'll go a step farther and say he will not beat jim tressel the whole time he is in michigan.
Its obvious you are just angry and jealous cause you lost a great coach to the University of Michigan. That's pretty damn pathetic. I don't hold grudges against coaches who leave Michigan. I hope they succeed. Like when Brady Hoke left to coach Ball State and turned the Cardinals into an MAC power, I was extremely proud. RichRod turned your Mountaineers into a great program, and he will do the same with Michigan. We will beat OSWHO multiple times under Rodriguez.
That's the best you could come up with? Paulus was never going to see meaningful playing time at Michigan even if he had enrolled here. The job has been Forciers to lose since March. Palus was not Michigans or RichRods savior. Give it up dude.
For me personally, RR is too new to A2 to form an opinion about his, But for all the haters in Morgantown, you do realize Don Nehlen told RR to take the job right? WVUboy, you do know who Don Nehlen is right?
White, Schmitt, and Slaton were all 2 and 3 star nobodies who RichRod and his staff turned into great college football players. If RichRod won 11 games 3 straight seasons and won 2 BCS Bowl games in 3 seasons with MAC talent, he'll turn Michigan into a Big Ten dynasty and possibly the NO.1 program in the nation. The Wolverines will win multiple Big Ten and BCS Bowl games under Rodriguez. You're just a jealous hater.
Technically speaking, yes, but it was Calvin Magee and the rest of RichRods staff (which is currently with him at Michigan) who came up with the entire gameplan for that Fiesta Bowl win. RichRod had his hands all over that win. You know it.
If you actually watched WVU football while Rod was the coach then you would know that he was the ones to call the games, not McGee. That Fiesta Bowl game was McGee getting to do his thing without Rod negating everything. Also Coach Stewart was the one who preapred those guys mentally to whip Oklahomas ass.
Again, Magee is RichRods creation. Magee is more or less the black version of RichRod. Everything Magee knows he learned from RichRod. And if Stewart is such a great motivator and coach, whats up with you guys going 8-4 when you returned everybody from the 2007 team which went 11-2? Stewart is a joke. And moreover, RichRod had his hands all over that 48-28 win. There's no denying it.
Wow are you serious?? WVU lost Steve Slaton, Owen Schmitt, Darius Reynaud, Keilein Dykes, Johhny Dingle, Marc Magro, and lots of seconday players that played on the 2007 team. Rich Rod had all of those guys and choked against South Florida and Pitt. Dick Rod has nothing on that games outcome. 3-8
Yeah, and you guys returned 7/11 starters on both sides of the ball, including a 4 year starting QB in White, Noel Devine at tailback, and Jock Sanders, Alric Arnett, Tito Gonzalez, and everybody else at receiver except for Reynaud. That's why you were ranked NO.6 in the country at the start of the season. And lookie there: Stew leads you to an 8-4 record! WVU wins 11 games (again) with RichRod as your coach.
Also, what do you not understand about 'it was Calvin Magee and the rest of RichRods staff (which is currently with him at Michigan) who came up with the entire gameplan for that Fiesta Bowl win'? RichRod did have his hands all over that win. Stop hating on him just cause he left for greener pastures. You guys are WVU. You're a mid major. You're going to lose really good coaches like RichRod to prestigious schools like Michigan. Welcome to the college sports world. deal with it.
The only assistant coach that was worth anything was McGee, the rest of them are nothing. Tony Gibson? WVU's current coaching staff makes Michigans look mid-major.
When U of M lost to Appy State, I told my friend "I hope they know that our (WVU) awesome football coach doesn't come as a package deal with our awesome basketball coach." Kinda regretting those words now, but can't wait to see Coach Rod and Coach Beilein tear it up in slightly different shades of gold and blue. Got a little taste of what John can do this year. As for Rich... He'll bring you many titles. I may be the only U of M fan in WV, but I'm a loud one. Go Blue!!!
I'm one of the few WVU fans who still loves Coach Rod. People in WV wouldn't care if Bill "Stupid" Stewart took off for another job. Most of my fellow WVU fans are just upset that we lost a great coach. I'm a Michigan fan (second only to WVU) now. Go Blue and go coach Rod!!!!
dude your a friggin moron, it was the point of him leaving after he said he was going to be here for the rest of his career. we were mad at beilein but after the season started we didnt care anymore rod crossed the line
This clown is a bafoon and he is making a mockery of the program. LOL You are now losing the state of Michigan...Go State!!!

great coach?? are YOU kidding me??
You call him "great" yet he hasn't done ANYTHING yet but... he has talked about frickin monkeys LOL
until he beats OSU and wins the conference out right and beyond then you could possibly call him "great."
until then lets let the future dictate his status instead of being premature about it.
leaving W. Virginny the way he did falls way short of "greatness."
