What I like about the A340-600, is that it is the most quiet airlplane I know. You barely hear it during landing. I lived near a flight channel, and I immediately recognised the A346 when it was arriving. SOOOOOOOOOO QUIET.

The A340-600 isnt the best looking plane in the wolrd. I much prefer the Boeing 777-300 ER. It just looks better! I mean look at those three landing wheels in the middle and its long and very skinny frame. The 777 is more evenly proportioned.

@liamr685 at least they get heavies over here at my home airport we mainly get 737's MD80's, A320's, and 757's. only heavies that I see are boeings test planes and those don't fly by my house as much as the 737's.

@BringEllisTheHoriZon I like the DC-10 and love the MD-11 LOL. A330 is nice, but not from behind - centre wing box is far too big. 777 is good. I just think the A340-600 is too long, like the 757-300.

yeah it is too long but thats part of the beauty, its the longest plane in the world, well its just been overtaken by the 748 :(
