It's not often that I comment on a video but I must make mention of the class, style and grace that Luther shows in this clip. I've been around a lot of vocalists and artists and it is a rare occurence if ever that you see the headliner share the spotlight with his/her background singers. I think this was great. And from the first time I saw the clip of "Any Love" I said to myself "I've never seen better live backgrounds done." I love this production. It was well-constructed.

I really like this version of "Searching" and the light show! Luther and crew where so exciting to see in person and he gave you a show, todays tryers might try, but I feel that they shortchange these kids and give them only half of the whole that you experienced in a Luther show or any old school performers stage show! When I was in college in the Boston area in the mid 80s, a local DJ, I think his name was Sunny, used to play "Searchin" every Friday as he ended his show. It was his theme for the night as he embarked on a night of partyin'. RIP Luther.
