Very good explanation by the way.

  • realy good.

  • great vid. i have been told that if you free wheel this can damage the clutch, is this true?

  • @ratclifferob yes as you are over engaging it...if you keep stepping on it over and over again then, like with most things, it weakens. Whats advisable is to ONLY use the clutch when starting, completely stopping or changing gears :)

  • thanks..good vid..hope to hear you soon....

  • when does it burn?

  • Burning a clutch is simply overheating your clutch. Overheating by means of prolonged partial engaugement on your part, or high revs in partial engaugement, or a weak pressure plate on the clutch's part.

  • When I pull the clutch it does not move the car. and I Smell burning from it. Should i take to transmission shop to replaced It?

    Steve

  • i guess that you have to replace you clutch with a new one =) but just guessing :p
