Why do you use three different washer sizes for each metal layer? Is it a surface area thing? If so, why not use 3",1",3" instead of 1",3",1.25" as you used?
Try using "self-sealing dual wall heat shrink tubing" instead of regular heat shrink tubing. This will keep water out of your zinc connections. The dual wall heat shrink has a thin layer of thermoplastic inside the tubing. The plastic is similar to the stuff in hot glue gun sticks. When you apply heat to shrink the tubing the glue layer
@HHO4ALL have you performed a lpm test yet? I have the same design rigged up w/o the nylon bolt. I've used two zip ties. It seems just as tight as with a bolt , but i'm not getting the same effect visually. I can't find the 3" or longer nylon bolt here locally is the reason.
Has anyone tried other variables such as 1. different temperatures of water 2. different air preassures 3. Creating one in flowing water. 4. Vibrating the device. 5. Shooting a wave through it such as a high frequency sound wave?
I also made my own version of the ss washer wet cell. I like the way you did the electrical connection. For insulation, use liquid tape. You can buy it at Lowe's or Home Depot. Nice video!

With constant use you would be lucky if they would last one day. The problem is that they degrade at the connection first, and once that goes... your cell won't be receiving power anymore. Joebulatao had a good idea. He recommended using liquid electrical tape to seal the connectors. This should fix the problem. Thanks for watching.

I'll have to find the "self-sealing dual wall heat shrink tubing" you are talking about, because it sounds like the perfect solution.
