That area has experienced a lot of change. One problem I see for that area is that the new homes are not a true improvment. In west Wilmette new homes are just large brick boxes. Builders should build homes that are similar to those they build in central and east Wilmette. They would be out of character but eventually the area would develop a nice character. The home at 342 Beverly Drive is actually nice and is priced at $1,299,900.
