    Best quote.

  • Comment removed

  • @RaupKoup Sure, except it's actually, You can be what you wanna be, but you can't shape the course of your destiny.

  • This was a most bodacious and excellent movie

  • Freud: Therefore, Ted's father's own fear of failure has caused him to make his son the embodiment of his own deepest anxieties about himself. And, hence, his aggression transference onto Ted.

    (Ted sits up.)

    Ted: Whoa!

    Freud: Okay, Ted?

Ted: Yes, thank you very much Sigmund Freud.

(Freud motions for Bill to lie on the gurney.)

Bill: Nah! I just got a minor Oedipal complex.

  • Murphy was misspelt as Murphey in the opening credits.

  • I looooove this song! Takes me right back to 1988. EEEESH, I'm getting old!

    Bill & Ted are classic.

  • I didnt know this was based on a comic book i thought it was just a regular movie lol shocker to me =P

  • Where'd you hear that

  • I read it on wikipedia I was bored and decided to look it up it was based on DC comics =P

  • Actually, the comic was based on the film, which was based on the stage production.

  • Actually the creators came up with Bill and Ted during an improv in theater class. They made the first film and while the 2nd film was being released Marvel Comics released a limited series that took place after the second film. A third film got as far as post production, but never ent further than being adapted as the film Bio-Dome

  • @KuriositatElec

Bill & Ted & Bob was the stage production created Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon.

  • @TalentlessNoob It was based off an improv bit.

  • @TalentlessNoob

it's not based on a comic.

there IS a comic, but the comic is based on the movie

  • @orinanime exactly

  • @TalentlessNoob "talentless noob",indeed...you're thinking of marvel's "bill and ted's excellent comic book" or the "bogus journey" adaptation.the latter was a tie-in to the second and the other was another tie-in with new content after both movies

  • @TalentlessNoob Thats not true, the characters of Bill and Ted are characters that the creators of the films created in film school

  • @TalentlessNoob the comics were from the movie

  • 69 DUDES!! I almost forgot how cool Rufus (George Carlin) was.

  • Was that george carlin?? LOL

  • Might have been good if in the "Bill And Ted's Most Excellent Collection DVD set (Both films) It might have been excellent if also one of the extras had the "Big Pig music video" as well besides the pilot cartoon based on the 2 films.

  • Be excellent to each other Mother Fuckers

  • i LOVE BILL!!!!! great job!

  • EXCELLENT!!! (plays air guitar)

  • I wonder why they chose this as the intro song.

  • Probably because it sounds mystical. I don't know. Its still an interesting question.

  • well i guess like Legba85 said it sounds kinda mystical and it kinda fits the moment in the movie with the gold diamond thing that was coming down in the movie.....but idk im still wondering but i like the song

  • I had this on cassette. Is anybody old enough to remember them?

Didn't realise it was in the movie too.

  • I have it on vinyl lol!

  • I lost a serious bet on this song once. I remembered it even though I saw the movie only once. I bet that Annie Lennox sang it-never bet 'till you imdb it. She does sound a lot like Annie, though.

  • She sure does! Could quite easily mistake for Eurithmics for sure

Amazing powerful voice with awesome control.

Her name is Sherine Abeyratne. Something special

  • She sounds n o t h i n g like Annie Lennox..lol If you had said Marcella Detroit then maybe, I would agree....but not Annie.

  • Good point; it's just the style is the same...

  • I was watching "Urgh! A Music War" and I think she sounds like Toyah Wilcox when she sang "Danced". Check it out on here, when I heard this song I thought maybe it was Toyah.

  • yea, be exelent to eachother, thats all we gotta do.

  • be excellent to each other

  • and...PARTY ON DUDES!!!!

    -Abraham Lincoln 1988

  • A forgotten classic!

  • well unless you saw the film you never knew it existed, lol

  • @moviesoundtracks1

BIg Pig were, sort of, popular in Australia. Well not popular, but reasonably well known. They were initially a pretty hardcore industrial band. But this song is from their later "popish" period. Pretty much all 30+ year old Australians would know this song

  • Definately not forgotten mate ;-)

  • anybody know what omina doke doe ominea means?

  • this song's a classic!

  • be excellent to each other love this song

  • and.....PARTY ON DUDES!!!!!

  • Many thanks this is great!

use &fmt=6 for the stereo version
