I knew Moe back in Edmonton when he fronted the News and the Modern Minds (Back streets is an awesome tune from those day...) It is ME he is referencing with the leather jacket line - my brother and I used to scream at him for covering Beatles tunes. Then we'd buy him a drink and we'd meet next day and play pinball.

I have a 12" EP version of TOPH for this song. I think it was an original release (guitars were louder and harder) because the CD and the music video sounded different.

Cool. I think the most glaring way to tell the original indie version from the Love Junk version is that in the LJ version, Moe screams at the end of the leather jacket line like he does here. That doesn't happen in the indie version.

Great video , one of my favorite bands, world owes Canada big time for TPOH and Rush. Saw TPOH first time in Seattle at Central Tavern, Think my friend and I were one of the first to ask Moe for a autograph on love junk tour. And partied back stage with then on downword road tour. TPOH IS GREAT!!!!

Nice live version, much better than the original in '86. Agian, I've said this on other videos of this song, this song has the best one liners of any song out there . . . any song. I'ts kinda cheezy, but it rocks and the lyrics are memorable.
