Used to see him often with SCW's at Juanita's and White Water Tavern in Little Rock. Some of the best shows ever! Mike was always great with the fans. Absolutely the most powerful unamplified voice I've ever heard. Glad to know his life is on track.

Such a heartfelt version from the most soulful man on the planet,,,(quite posssibly) We had the pleasure of shooting a gig of his this past Friday Feb. 8 -2008 at the Mercy Lounge. Excellent upload. I'll never forget the time you and the band (SCW) reached out to "Wilie", a homeless guy in Atlanta. You let him come up on stage and play the harmonica, took up a collection of money from the crowd in "Willie's" hat and made his day.....I'm sure. You are a very special person that I will carry in my heart for many years to come. You may or may not remeber the time you guys called me to find you an E flat harmonica for an Atlanta show. i was at that show. the audienced was completely silent, in awe as he performed. he got a more enthusiastic standing ovation than even emmylou harris and buddy miller. i and everybody else there were completely floored by his performance. well done, mike.
