I've been dealing with hypoglycemia all my life, and I'm 17 now. I have blackouts, and trouble with concentration. I understand what you're dealing with. The doctor told me that I would most likely never get better. I'm overweight, but not uncomfortable, and I work out. I'll just deal with the issues with memory and concentration and low sugar for the rest of my life. However, if you need help getting it under control, I would try a diet with no breads, and a lot of meat and vegetables.
I realize its been over a year for this video . How are you doing now? I understand what you are going through. My symptoms have been getting progressively worse. I can't drive anymore. Comes on without warning. I am now having blackouts and occasional seizures. No more driving for me. I have a Sheltie although not formally trained as a service dog he does warn me. I don't always realize it until something happens. Moved back in with parents. Your dad sounds like a terrific man. Bless you. ;)
I haven't been on youtube in a really long time so I had no idea what was going on with you. Know that you have prayers going up here on my end and that I love you very much. God is amazing and will bless you greatly, just hang in there!!! No matter what the doctors say, remember, God is in control!!!
You Keep Keeping On Sweetie! Don't give up. I have also had a life changing experience and it makes ya look at life very different. You just keep going!
I am thinking of you and praying for you Joy. Please do ANYTHING you can to get this medical problem into a controllable situation. Also do try your best to get one of the Alert Dogs. I think that would be something essential for you to have. I know you can beat this. HUGS!
Joy, you are in our prayers! Keep the faith, its hard when you feel like you are losing yourself to a disease. Seeing the specialist is important and will start you down the path you need to be on. I don't know anything about service dogs but I think its a great idea for you to have one!
My prayers are with you in finding what you need. I know how frustrating health issues can be I have many myself. You can fight back, seeing a specialist is very important and there is also a monitor you wear like a watch that will let you know a head of time of your blood sugars dropping to fast. Keep fighting sweetie. (((hugs)))
I'm glad to hear you are going to a specialist. I have to deal with this problem too and so I eat several times a day. Every 3 to 4 hours no longer than that or I'm in trouble. When I have bad espisodes I break out in a drenching sweat from head to toe and shake and get so dizzy. My heart also starts to pound.
I couldn't tell you my own name when that happens. Take care of yourself:) xxxx
Joy, my Mother was diabetic, and she went through periods when her insulin dosage was impossible to stabilize. I watched her nearly die more than once because her blood sugar dropped to near zero. So, from that point of view, I know exactly where you are, and my heart bleeds for you.
I'm with Robin. Get it pinpointed, and get it controlled, whatever is causing it. And yes, get such a dog. It could save your life.
My prayers are with you during this hard time. I will be praying that a specialist will find the answer and cure to what is going on with your glucose levels. A service dog is a great idea!
I have been praying for you and I will continue to. I am so sorry life has dealt you such a hard time, but I know you will make it through this. Stay strong and have faith. You are not lost, you are still there! This illness will not win, you will, I can tell how strong you are from your videos and with all your friends praying I just know things will turn around soon.
i'm keeping you in my thoughts & prayers. the service dog sounds like a great idea. i was just thinking that it's not good for you to be alone like this. take care ;)
Joy my heart is with you!!! And my prayers!! I love you soo my Chickadee!!! I want you to please know that no matter what this is...God can carry you through it!!
I am gonna be calling you soon, to let you know...I have found some of my issue :)
You are way tooo sweet and loving for this to be happening to....but it is just a BIG HUMP in the road we have to travel.
Joy I do pray that they find out what is wrong with you and get it all fixed so you can come back and be all cheerful and sing for us again.. Much love your way.. Dolores
OH Joy, my heart goes out to you. I wish there was a magical wand I could use to make things all good for you. I wish you all the luck in the world and know you are loved.
Joy Joy Joy down in my heart, you are always in my thoughts, and I wish I could be there to just take care of you and the dogs for a while so that you can concentrate on getting better. I am glad someone is going with you to the doctors. You WILL be back to your old sweet self with your stories of hilarity soon, I am sure. I love you, friend!
Video vlogging is a great way for you to see your progress. I sure hope that you can continue up hill and get better. A dog would be a great idea. A poodle requires many hair cuts, (expensive). I suggest a german shephard. Cheaper on the hair cuts. We love you and are hoping for the best.
my prayers go out to you, fighting with any insulin related problem is hard for a person to deal with, i hope you find a service doggie that see's what a wonderful person you are and brings you some peace and comfort in your life, many many prayers for you.. take care and get better soon :) cherry payne
The only comment I can make is that I hope you're able to find the cause and come up with a treatment plan. I also hope you have coverage for it. Best wishes from Southern California.

Most diseases can be reversed by switching to a plant based diet and by avoiding toxins such as aspartame, MSG and trans fats.
