Nerdbombs, the majority of scholars affirm that not only did Jesus' disciples hold to a sincere belief the Gospel, but were willing to die for their fatih, and most of this evidence comes from early church fathers.

Now I'm going to ask you to back up what you've said: you asserted that Jesus' disciples never existed, but were just legends. Can you please point me to a respected scholar that affirms your position, as well as evidence? Thanks.

If Jesus is the only way to Heaven, then what about all of the people in the world who have never heard of Him? I'm specifically thinking of the more primitive, tribal societies on Earth. They will burn for eternity because they haven't had the opportunities and/or resources to learn about Jesus through NO FAULT of their own? What if they die before the Christian missionaries get to spread 'The Word' to them? Does that seem fair and just? This is a real tough issue for me in my own faith.

@lovejazz1211 I can't quote it all here, it's too long, but grab a Bible and read Acts 10:34-43. In verses 34-35, it states that God shows no partiality, but accepts all people from all nations who fear Him and do what is right... then goes on to explain how people can find forgiveness from sin through Jesus Christ alone... and that it is Jesus Christ who will judge whether or not someone truly fears God and does what is right.

@lovejazz1211 Do you realize that tribes all over the world have formed their own religions, praising God? Romans says that if you "did your best" to praise God, even if you didn't know who he is, then you will still be recieved in Heaven. Just by looking around you can see evidence of God's mark on the earth.

We don't know yet, though. He has a plan for those that haven't heard of him; one day, though, the message will have reached the ends of the earth, and there will be no excuses.

Well you got to give the bible a fair chance, why would the disciples die for a lie? I mean look at all the other religions but in my personal opinon I believe christianity is the one exclusive faith because of someone coming and dying for the sins of the world. It is truly amazing to think that.
