@supratt2jzgte im not exactly sure but i think that the signal cuts off when entering the tunnel just like a cellphone would do if someone were using it in car (although its illegal or not safe for the driver) the signal would cut off.
@supratt2jzgte it does happen, only not nowadays... they have apparently found a way to get a signal from the onboard camera even inside the tunnel, but in the old days they couldn't, which is why they cut it... in some videos you can even see the camera lose connectivity and goes into static, right before they cut it...
i love the 2005 and 2006 renault. i am german and to be honest i dont really like alonso but with watching videos i like him more and more he is definitely the best driver formula 1 has now. he is the only one who gives more than 100%. he touches the limit with every car. alonso is a fighter !!
@Master1906 It was planned to be a 4 cylinder turbo in the beginning, but then they changed it to 6 cylinder turbo... perhaps you should be getting your facts right
@dan1994L lmao, "4 cylinder not straight 4" does prove indeed, that a new word has to be made up to demonstrate just how "fucktarded" you are.
Attempting use educated words like "insinuate" doesn't exactly hide the fact you made a stupid comment to prove I was wrong but instead made you look the idiot. Fail much?
@xBaphometHx that's exactly what I mean, nowadays when you look at them driving in TV, it feels like anyone could drive them, the speed is like twice less than what it was before. That's why I don't appreceate Vettel as much as a driver as I appreciate Alonso, even though Vettel is a nice guy.
I'm not a real Alonso fan tbh, due to his arrogant and selfish behavior, but he's definitely one of the best drivers in F1.
This is the time that cars actually required some talent to drive them... not like nowadays they have automatic gear box and full traction control, not to talk about the powerless V8 engines. What happened to old good engine blow ups? I so miss the old good F1 and the season 2005.
@Henkkaaa89 I don't like Alonso myself, but he's a bloody good driver. I also think that F1 should return to the V10 engines, but now with the V6's coming up in a couple of years, the sport will turn into a complete joke.
@Henkkaaa89 They don't have automatic gearboxes. They have semi-automatic like they had in 2005. Traction control was used only in 2007 and was banned.
I'm agree with the powerless V8 engines. They need 2 extra cilinders again to make us feel that these cars are impossible to be driven by a common human being.
@schumachertimesrossi Love or hate Alonso, the mans talent is undeniable. Your comment is possibly the most ridiculous thing i have ever read. If your talking about undeserving champions Jenson Button slots right in near the top. I like him, but he is nowhere near the best in F1, he just took advantage of a car that was the best by a mile at time when many teams were lagging behind due to the drastic changes to F1 in 2009.
@xIIJoshIIx well both him and button took advantage of pace and reliability. I'm not denying alonso's talent or anything but 2005 should have been Kimi's championship.
@schumachertimesrossi based on that so did schumacher 4 years in a row he got no competition back then because he took advantage of his car too but once alonso's car got better he was out so as of result alonso is a better driver than schumcher if it's that what are you saying , a driver by itself can do nothing, if you go through the history you will see that's a fact, I myself don't like schumacher but I don't deny his talent or disrespect him, he is a good driver
Sorry m8, you are right. You know what made me think it's a renault from 2005? The small yellow wings infront of the car, which were only used in monaco during the season 2005, and then throughout the whole season 2006.
Yes, I always felt there is something special about riding onboard with Alonso in his 2005 Renault... How the cars seems to understeer, how he aggressively cures it with the steering wheel and as a result the car seems on rails... I find it one of the finest examples of driving technique and car control.
itd be interesting to see them allow v8s and v10s now that theres a refueling ban. v10 might have more power but they weigh more and the fuel tanks would be larger and theyd require more fuel to last the whole race, all contributing to weight. v10 advantage on straights and v8 advantage in the corners. i want v10s back in f1. they sound so much better
I don't understand... if they want to make the cars slower, why make the engines smaller? V8's are more compact then then the V10's, so they can harness the aerodynamic even better, making the cars faster... Why don't they reintroduce the 3.5L V12?
