I have some old Kubota tractors. 25 yrs plus and I can tell you that the Kubota diesel will be running for years after the Polaris is in the junk pile. The Kubota is a ranch work vehicle. Heavy duty with a hydraulic dump bed, not electric. I like Polaris as a fast hunting vehicle, but it just won't hold up on the ranch. This is a worthless biased video.
Notice that the kubotas flatbed box is made of metal unlike Polaris quality plastic, they did like no tests on towing box weight and other things that's farming related, there compaing a off road vechicle to a farm / utility vechicle
well that's a downsize then if the polar is petrol/gasoline, diesel is more economical and no wonder the polar has more performance if its running on gasoline.
The Kubota is more of a work horse. The metal tubing is thicker and in general more heavy duty. The turning radious is higher than I'd like but you adjust. I especially like the large load you can carry in the bed and the hydrologically controlled dump. The fact that it's a diesal makes it a little sluggish but I don't race.

they lie so much. the farm i work at has a few kubota rtv900 roofed and not roofed, they all top at 34-36mph in high, it has a differential lock at your foot and diesel will start in the most cold or hot conditions you can put it in, it has a engine warmer also if its far to cold to start in the first few turns of a key, diesel it the standaed of onsite fuel on a farm, why have a 125 cc chinese shitt engine that will go a year untill it needs a rebuild, fucking polaris shit!!!!

Polaris is great! Not only does it beat the Kubota in all of these tests, it also beats the Kubota in number of visits to the mechanic. My boss bought 2 Polaris Rangers for the job site. We have 4 Kubota RTV's. Disregarding servicing, I hardly ever see those Rangers on the job site because they are in the shop so much.

i have a rtv 1100 and it can go though everything. this winter i was driving the thing though 2 and a half feet of snow and i drive it though big mud hole and i have never got the rtv stuck . this video is not right the rtv can tow way more and it runs for ever.
Guys its video.everyone gets what they need for there certain needs or wants. i have the ranger HD. My uncle has the Kubota RTV900. They are both on the farm. When he wants to tow very heavy attachments, he uses his kubota. Ive driven it, its a good vehicle. But when he wants to tow or haul and get there quickly, he uses my ranger. My ranger can tow 1 ton. This isnt a bashing board.
polaris should do tests like this. the kubotas and gators are WORK utv. the rangers are for fun and work. theyre making it sound like heavy duty utv's arent good because they go fast. the point is, if you want something to have fun on, get a ranger or rhino, if you want a work horse, get a kubota or gator. this is why im getting a ranger next week
kubotas are work horses. the braking test is a joke, you would NEVER use the brake on the Kubota because of the hydrostatic tranny. if they hadnt hit the brakes on the brake test, it would have stopped faster.

Speed: The Kubota machine is more suited to a agricultural application, we don't particuly want our staff driving 41 MPH behind a herd of cows or sheep.
Ground clearance: The ground clearance comment is also very misleading. You are meant to take this from the lowest point which on the Ranger is the outside arms on the suspension, on the Kubota this is the Chassis so offering protection to the suspension.
The Kubota is a utility diesel tractor utv. The kubota is built more tough, has more pulling torque, and will outlast the polaris. Kubota makes "tractors", polaris doesn't. It's also diesel vs gas. If i wanted a tough long lasting utility machine, good on fuel, i would go with the Kubota or Bobcat utv. If kubota wanted to make a more recreational utv to compare with polaris, i'm sure they could do alot better.

From having tested both of these, I have to say that the Kubota is the one hard to beat. The Diesel engine has far more torque and has numerically higher gears for towing thus why it is slower and is far more fuel efficient. The Kubota can also handle more weight and has p,lent of leg room, notice they didn't got to the same side as they had shown on the Kubota.

I own a Polaris ranger 700xp... I hooked up a trailer and filled it with 2,000 pounds of brick. Everyone says that Polaris ranger can't tow much but with 2,000 on a trailer and 1,000 cargo uphill I still got up to 25 mph. I would like to see the Kubota 900 do that!

diesel burns slower, so it doesnt need a bigger tank, also if you clip a rock with your gas tank on the polaris and it sparks you go BOOM i would still choose a kubota they are just trying their best to prove polaris the better one but this didnt say anything the kubota had. SPEED does not matter when it comes to an offroad vehicle.
The Kubota will far outlast the Ranger, this video is way to biased twards the Ranger. I'd like to see what machine could haul uphill longer at max load. The kabota will probably smoke the belts off the Ranger with its hydrostatic transmission and have you seen the new Kabota cab??? Air Conditioning, hydrolic dump bed, heat, cd player, full nice gauges...its similar to a car. The only downside is it does bog down in high range up steep hills, then you must come to a complete stop to shift gear.

We got 30" snow up here in one dumping and my RTV with a meyers 6' blade which I customized plowed it no problem. This video is so one sided it doesn't nearly show the positives of the Kubota. I would like to see a chain hook back to back and see who wins?

The kubota is an all work-little play UTV. It's not like always used for those kinds of situations.
Though the Kubota RTV1100 I have seriously lacks a bit in power, it gains back by providing comfort by offering an air conditioned incredibly sealed cabin and silent interiors. installed a turbo and intercooler kit, new muffler and tatou tracks. Everything you want is in there for great camping.

The Polaris is a great side by side. Faster, plush ride, seats 3, stops great, etc. Kinda like my moms minivan. Which one tows the most? Which one has hydraulic hookup capability? Which one has a transmission that won't slip when it gets wet? Which one has the better cab, and better heat? Which one would be better at plowing snow? Which one uses less fuel? Which one can have a hydraulic winch added to it? Hmm.. The things that matter most to me.. the Polaris doesn't do so great in.

this video is so biased towards the ranger it's not even funny. it's not even a fair comparison. the kubota is purely a work vehicle, it's not designed for trail riding. personally i would rather have the kubota, being a diesel. Sure, you'll have fun putting your foot to the floor in the ranger, but how long will it last? you'd have to haul a fuel tank behind you!

Polaris is great! Not only does it beat the Kubota in all of these tests, it also beats the Kubota in number of visits to the mechanic. My boss bought 2 Polaris Rangers for the job site. We have 4 Kubota RTV's. Disregarding servicing, I hardly ever see those Rangers on the job site because they are in the shop so much.

i have a rtv 1100 and it can go though everything. this winter i was driving the thing though 2 and a half feet of snow and i drive it though big mud hole and i have never got the rtv stuck . this video is not right the rtv can tow way more and it runs for ever.

Guys its video.everyone gets what they need for there certain needs or wants. i have the ranger HD. My uncle has the Kubota RTV900. They are both on the farm. When he wants to tow very heavy attachments, he uses his kubota. Ive driven it, its a good vehicle. But when he wants to tow or haul and get there quickly, he uses my ranger. My ranger can tow 1 ton. This isnt a bashing board.

kubotas are work horses. the braking test is a joke, you would NEVER use the brake on the Kubota because of the hydrostatic tranny. if they hadnt hit the brakes on the brake test, it would have stopped faster.

Speed: The Kubota machine is more suited to a agricultural application, we don't particuly want our staff driving 41 MPH behind a herd of cows or sheep.
Ground clearance: The ground clearance comment is also very misleading. You are meant to take this from the lowest point which on the Ranger is the outside arms on the suspension, on the Kubota this is the Chassis so offering protection to the suspension.

The Kubota is a utility diesel tractor utv. The kubota is built more tough, has more pulling torque, and will outlast the polaris. Kubota makes "tractors", polaris doesn't. It's also diesel vs gas. If i wanted a tough long lasting utility machine, good on fuel, i would go with the Kubota or Bobcat utv. If kubota wanted to make a more recreational utv to compare with polaris, i'm sure they could do alot better.

From having tested both of these, I have to say that the Kubota is the one hard to beat. The Diesel engine has far more torque and has numerically higher gears for towing thus why it is slower and is far more fuel efficient. The Kubota can also handle more weight and has p,lent of leg room, notice they didn't got to the same side as they had shown on the Kubota.

I own a Polaris ranger 700xp... I hooked up a trailer and filled it with 2,000 pounds of brick. Everyone says that Polaris ranger can't tow much but with 2,000 on a trailer and 1,000 cargo uphill I still got up to 25 mph. I would like to see the Kubota 900 do that!

diesel burns slower, so it doesnt need a bigger tank, also if you clip a rock with your gas tank on the polaris and it sparks you go BOOM i would still choose a kubota they are just trying their best to prove polaris the better one but this didnt say anything the kubota had. The Kubota will far outlast the Ranger, this video is way to biased twards the Ranger. I'd like to see what machine could haul uphill longer at max load. The kabota will probably smoke the belts off the Ranger with its hydrostatic transmission and have you seen the new Kabota cab??? Air Conditioning, hydrolic dump bed, heat, cd player, full nice gauges...its similar to a car. The only downside is it does bog down in high range up steep hills, then you must come to a complete stop to shift gear.

This test is so very unfair. The Kubota is a workhorse. It's a diesel and it weighs A LOT. It's like comparing a Camaro to an Excursion on a track test. I was on a RVT900 this morning. It went anywhere on the trail. Let's not forget the fact that Kubota is a tractor company! People who purchase a the RTV900 aren't going to take it to any extreme situations. @Topdawg6116 Actually the Kubota is a work horse, it is not a play toy. The Kubota has live hydraulic's on board so you can run almost any Hydraulic attachment and add a snowplow- Which I did. We got 30" snow up here in one dumping and my RTV with a meyers 6' blade which I customized plowed it no problem. This video is so one sided it doesn't nearly show the positives of the Kubota. I would like to see a chain hook back to back and see who wins?

The kubota is an all work-little play UTV. It's not like always used for those kinds of situations.
Though the Kubota RTV1100 I have seriously lacks a bit in power, it gains back by providing comfort by offering an air conditioned incredibly sealed cabin and silent interiors. installed a turbo and intercooler kit, new muffler and tatou tracks. Everything you want is in there for great camping.

The Polaris is a great side by side. Faster, plush ride, seats 3, stops great, etc. Kinda like my moms minivan. Which one tows the most? Which one has hydraulic hookup capability? Which one has a transmission that won't slip when it gets wet? Which one has the better cab, and better heat? Which one would be better at plowing snow? Which one uses less fuel? Which one can have a hydraulic winch added to it? Hmm.. The things that matter most to me.. the Polaris doesn't do so great in.
