Concept proven. For the resolution that I expect to need for one project, I could go either 1920x1080 with a 1.5:1 lens, or a 2048x1536 with a 2:1, on cost; native digiscope projectors are not easy to find for modest project budgets (Digital Projection cinema-house units probably run $50K-plus a pop and are overkill for short throws).
