i was surprised how great this game really was, its only like 1 dollar worth of microsoft points. i bought it because i had little money and i dont regret it. the game is trying to be a funny parody to old nes rpgs, but although it was funny at points it was epic and fun throughout the entire game.
Nice. And based on your description of the game, I almost want to say the reason I relate this game so strongly to Breath Of Fire is they probably intentionally titled it similarly as joke and reference to the actual game. The VII most likely a reference to Final Fantasy VII, seeing as there aren't 6 other titles.
I can definitely see why your liking this song, Supra. It's a really nice blend of relaxing/somber melody with a slight hint of hope towards the end. Heavy on the somber aspects tho, plus the simple video intro makes it pretty powerful as well.
Believe it or not, this track has been one of my most played since I finished this game. Sometimes you can't really explain why a song grows on you like that. It's made its way into my relaxing/studying playlist. Speaking of that playlist, since a lot of the tracks in it are already in the list, I'll post the playlist on my channel after I reach 1100.
@SupraDarky What did you think of the game, i wonder? I honestly didn't like it much. It felt dated, which was the point, but it just felt too dated for me. :\
@GabeMorris I think I played this game at the right time. I hadn't played a retro-styled RPG in a while so it felt like a Breath of Fresh Air VII (sorry for the bad joke). I loved how you had 2 powerup choices every time a character leveled up and I really liked how dungeons had a set number of battles before you had the option to completely turn them off. Great humor too and references (town names mixing japanese and english RPG titles for example: Motherbound, Lufestopolis, etc.).

I'm close to beating Cthulhu and can't wait to dive into this game as well! Both seem like they have an amazing soundtrack.

@shenloken2
Actually, Breath of Death VII is a parody of Breath of Fire and I'm assuming Final Fantasy VII which the VII comes from.

@SupraDarky Will that mean that songs on the playlist not on the list will become ineligible to be on the list? That'll play hell with my stats. xD

@scarletspeed7 Any tracks that are not in this list won't be added to the playlist until they get on the list.
