When trying to remember, he's making obious signs of "difficult to remember" to suggest the fact that they will forget the show, thinking it's impossible to remember just like it seems impossible to learn all that map. Here he ends the forgetting effect of the "check", just before making people return... with the cab driver. At the end of the show, they do not want to remember the show, they just want to know "where they are", i.e. shepperd bush green.

@aboylegolcom I think he's trying to make the spectators "forget" about the show , since this is all the show is about . By making others see that he "forgets" , it furthers make the "forget" aspect better in the show .

yea that is pretty possible but if u've seen any of his shows he's done a few memory things like this and even made someone remember an immense amount of info and he has explained how he does it which is a technique a few people use

Hypnotists and even magicians rely on this effect...only very very few people would change their mind especially if you emphasize the fact that they may change if they want to!
