@Norwaylonglive You really don't know what you're talking about. First of all, silly putty is not rubber at all, it's a silicone polymer. Second, microwaves don't us an "electrick" beam. Microwaves use...microwaves. They're a high frequency radiation that oscillates polar molecules. When microwaving food, those molecules are water, which rub together extremely fast to produce heat from friction. In silly putty, it those molecules are silicone oil. Oh, and Norway sucks. ;)

it would make sense that the silly putty would have the same consistancy, seeing that it has the mushy sort of material and the radio waves the microwave produces would have a hard time trying to vibrate the putty like that because of its goo-like form.

Also, the putty in the egg would take the form of the egg because of the putty settling into place because of gravity.
