Funny. I guess they had to do something to keep busy. Are these films comedies, or are they supposed to be action movies? Perhaps "Ninja umbrella" would have been a better title. They fail horribly as ninja films, so maybe they should advertise as comedies or spoofs. I thought the shadow duplicate thing was nice, Hanzo does something similar in samurai warriors 2.

Wow. That's pretty terrible even for a Godfrey Ho film. I especially like the split screen shots. One was misaligned, and the other two halves were obviously shot at different times of day. Not only can I do a better job than this, I actually HAVE. In about a minute of my spare time at that.

yes congrats to you, but you probably have technology that is 25 years more advanced than what they had then. this is a great 70's/80's B-movie. yes it is terrible now, and it was terrible when it came out, but thats how it was meant to be.

It doesn't matter. It's quite simple to do split screen even on film without an optical printer or anything. You just expose each half separately. I'm betting they simply didn't care - ninja crap sold back then no matter the competence level.

I wouldn't argue the entertainment value, though.

I just found the song Godfrey used in the beginning of this clip while browsing my collection, it is called "Edgar Froese - Unexpected Death". For those of you who dont know, Edgar Froese was one of the members of Tangerine Dream, who also gets used alot in Godfrey Ho's films.
