I would ask that our friends from the East not blame this terrible video on the west. Blame it on Novena's agent and her record label for making bad decisions. When I saw the Bulgaria Idol video, I heard a pure and beautiful voice in her native language. She is beautiful, but she is not making beautiful music. The producers believe we (the public) want to see this and hear this, they need to know we want to hear beautiful music.

I am not a singer. So most probably you are right. Personally, I think Nevena is a talent. The problem is that so far in her career, she did not get one song written for her that would show her potential and help her unfold her capabilities. So far, her first album, as well as the pilot singles, are cheaply made and kitchy.

Let us hope that in the future, after she is no longer obligated to follow the terms and conditions of her enslaving contract with Virginia, she will take hold of true opportunities to establish as an artist, and not the one of the many gray unoriginal clips crammed in the mass audience conveyer-belt music factory production.

This problem lies in front of every music idol rising in BG. And this I find disappointing. The producers provide them with songs already sung by other singers and issued in albums (example - nevena and toma). No honest effort to place this performer as original and specific. This is a pity.
