I saw them open up for Dream Theater. I had followed DT for a while and was a rabid fan and let me tell you. Damn The Machine totally stole the show. The audience was totally captivated by them. Its like a King Crimson concert but with headbanging. People really were looking around at each other like "Holy Shit Im actually headbanging to a clean guitar passage." I will go so far as to say that they were the most balanced, solid sounding, cohesive progressive band of the 90s. The planets aligned.
I used to love this band, (since this cd is outta print I found a copy in Russia on ebay for an unmentionable amount) Anyway, I wonder why Poland isn't allowing the Damn the Mission CD on youtube or anywhere else to be played and heard, it's almost like his not happy with this project or something. I got to see em in Phx live in Mtv's Monsters of Rock tour (The singer from a band called Greta got fucked up and pelted with dirt filled water bottles for wearing a dress and flashing himself, Lol)
Please put more vids/audio up (make sure you put the Album Cover please :D)! Such a GREAT album, and this Bluesy song is soo damn sexy and sad at the same time. Could I be the only human on this planet that has the EP that this came from? It has them doing "Kat Food" and Ten Years After "I'd Love to change the World" :) Got it as a promo for 88¢ :P
hei. somebody knows anything about New Yorkers, a jazz/jazz fusion band? Chris Poland, Robert Pagliari and Gar Samuelson and his bro'were in this band for about 4-5 years if i'm not wrong. i couldn't find anywhere about them albums or ep or something.
Hey Guys, This song was from the Damn The Machine "Silence" (EP) "For Promotional Use Only - Not For Sale" This EP Is Catalog # 31458 8244 2 On A&M Records The CD Had The Following Songs On It.... 1, Silence / 2, I Will / 3, I'd Love To Change The World / 4, Cat Food Hope this helps you out...

nice song. I'd love to get 'Cat Food' from this EP. I heard it on the radio once when it came out , and this disc is so hard/expensive to find...
