  • On initial launch, everything looked fine. It wasn't until the Stryker turned did the vertical stab come off, more than likely due to the the lateral load, or g force, from the angle of attack. Did you use foam safe CA on the tip of the stab when you installed it per the instruction manual? Even if they seem very tight, it is paramount that you use CA to ensure it is very secure, as this plane is very fast and can be subjected to very high g forces.

  • Okay I looked at the video again and i see it wasn't wind gust, it was probably the sniper fire from one of the in fidels.

  • I don't know - it may have been sniper fire from a predator drone feelin' threatened.

  • Should be obvious what happened. Freeze the video at exactly 3 seconds and look at the back side of the right stabilizer fin. The lower back part of it that holds it to the frame is already missing. That's why it falls off in flight.

    Quit blaming shit on wind gust.
