  • The little tea cup is such a cutie

  • Her father was so clueless...

  • listen to the horse dammit!

  • It's amazing how well this sequence (and the film itself) hold up to this day. It's still pretty scary and atmospheric.

  • 2 people got captured by the Beast

  • i love phillippe!

  • boo boo bear yogi bear

    cindy bear brillioz sulley owl

  • :19

    HERP

  • Famous last words.

    It's a shortcut!

  • Man: "Let's go this way."

    Horse: "Are you fucking stupid?!"

  • When I saw this movie as a kid, I always went "No! Don't go that way!"

  • @Deavi783 I still do, and im 19 ;D

  • Thank you Disney for creating some of my coolest childhood adventures! :)

  • OH I just love this scene! :) I cant explain it. The feeling i get when I see it; is a mix of fear, powerlessness and "humbleness" over the mighty beast , covered by shaddow and mystique.. When I saw this as a kid, I remember I was so scared to death that I had to stop the movie and see the rest of it the next day.. :) I still got chills down my spine.. :) The so well compsed music is half the movie I think, It wouldnt have been the same if the quality of the music was any less..

  • at 1:56, when Maurice sees the wolves on top of the Hill, I saw this show at the imax several years ago and they gaves the Wolves big red eyes. that was even creepier. I'd like to see that again.

  • I always got so depressed about this as little! Because this man had a beard, was white haired, which equaled (in my book) that he was old. And old = fragile. And when he fell to the ground or got scared, I felt so bad for his health and I was about to cry, because that kind of action is not healthy for an old man!

I still feel like that. I have to force my mind to think of him as a man on 50 years, then I can take it :P

  • @FromRamlose If it helps at all, old people were tougher back then.

  • That old mans a dick!!! No offence Belle, but if you saw the way he made the wrong decision and blamed an animal who was smart enough to go the right way, I think you'd nearly agree with me.

  • awesome quality! love this movie, thnx for posting :3

  • when my brother saw the beast when he was 2 he cried when he yelled.

  • @lotten16 bEst was a mix of quite az few animals, the most prevalent one is the buffalo with it's gruff face and sweet & expressive eyes. Also animator, Glen Keane drew inspiration from bears, lions and wildebeest for movement, and facial features.

  • look! its chernabog above the door!! 4:55

  • @DeTutnloench true, I never noticed HIm until now

  • 3:37. Funny the way Cogsworth squeals.

  • 5:08 he's gone man

  • poor old man :(

  • dam! imagine the mf at a bar: "what are you staring AT?!"

  • nice quality!

  • when did the trend in Disney appear where the fathers of main characters are 3 ft tall, white-haired old men?

  • oh man, i saw this scene when i was little with a broken leg, and when this scene came up, i hid and ive been afraid of wolves ever since

  • yeah but now, it's just a movie

  • Maurice somehow reminds me of Darby O' Gill.

  • Curious. Who is Darby O' Gill?

  • @familyguylover171 It's an old irish Disney movie from 1959.

  • LOL! I love the part when Cogsworth is laying face down on the ground and his trying to speak and his voice is all muffled. XD

    "No! No tea! NOOO TEA!!"

Ahaha. I die laughing every time. :D

  • Stop! You forgot your hat old man!

  • If you listen closely, it sort of sounds like Maurice says "fuck it" when he first enters the castle. I'm sure he's not really saying it. It's probably just a sound from being out of breath. But listen, it's funny!

  • meh, okay but I'm pretty sure he's just stammering the word "wh-hat.."

  • It did sound like it, but I believe he did not said "fuck it". It's probably somethin' else he said though. But still, I don't think so.

  • this is one of my fav disney movies!

it always makes me wanna cry when beast dies..but i'm happy he came back to life. I actually liked him better as a beast...i found him more attractive..XD

    I know that sounds weird

  • Heheh, I was Maurice in the Beauty and the Beast play I did. Lol.

    The old man, yeah.

  • as a kid this scene scared me

  • wait how did the Beast burst the door open it it already was open.

  • he closed it silently so he could scare the shit out of him.

  • really why would he do that why couldn't he run over to him very fast and let out a huge loud roar?

  • how do you know the Beast closed the doors silently?

  • this part of the movie still scares me as much as it did when i was 5

  • this part used to scare me, i love the film, its a classic and i now feel like watching it. lol

  • 5:34! scares the bejesus out of me!

  • That's Scare's Me Too. I'm Not Dareing Myself To Take A Look.

  • Beauty & the Beast & Alladian r the most freakiest movies ever made!

  • @spyrothedragon590 explain

  • @joelacey19911

I have no idea man. I can't really explain it. The fantasy of both films are great and they go over our most wildest imaginations. I loved them as a kid to. What I'm saying is I got freaked out in a fun way. No doubt Alladian & Beauty & The Beast r two awesome movies

  • @spyrothedragon590 you said it dude...the best!!!!

beauty and the beast scared the shit out of me in certain scenes though...like this one

  • Cogsworth is great, man! :D But the beast made me want to rip him a thing or two when he threw that poor old man in the dungeon.

  • cogsworth on the floor:NO!NO tea!!!

    xDDD

  • this scared me so much as a kid! will always remember it ! even now its quite scary! dnt go ! dnt go ! *hides behind cushion* lol

    xx

  • it appears the horse was going the right way it was maurice that idiot who went the wrong way lol

  • This movie freeaks me out so bad. Eery time. i never get used to it. I was so much braver as a 6 year old!

  • how did he get lost? i thought he knew where he was going

  • he got chased by wolves? :)

  • where is the rest??

  • i loved this but it was kinda scarry when i was a kid. if you notice, most "old-school" disney movies are really scarry. (more scarry than this)

  • COGSWORTH: ALL RIGHT, THIS HAVE GONE FAR ENOUGH, I AM CHARGE...

    (Cogsworth get the cover)

  • Oh and has anyone noticed the doorknobs on the front doors? They're in the shape of the Beast's head. Just scary...

  • yeah. When Maurice turns around and is staring right into the face of the Beast, that still scares the hell out of me. And I am 19! I've seen this movie countless times.

  • fo real when he is in the chair and he turns around and the beast is in his face! that scares the hell outta me! every time!

  • I never saw that part. Because I always covered my face before I saw it! I still do ;_;

  • Mrs. Potts is the best! Although I have to admit, it would freak me out if my tea-pot started talking to me...

  • lumiere is the best.

I Like when he taps belles papa on the head- "alo"

  • The clock and Lumière are the best! XD

"I'm not seeing this...I'M NOT SEEING THIS!!"

  • They really captured the nature of horses well. All that sensing things in advance and being spooky.

I've always got to cry when I see that scene...maybe I'm just sentimental but I think it's very desperate when he's all alone in the forest and even Phillipe deserts him. :(

  • Ugh, this is so scary.

  • if you think of it, Maurice kinda looks like Einstain but more tiny and fat

  • this is actually one of my favorite scenes in the entire movie. thanks!

  • i'll give you a place to stay!!! here in the guest room.. NOW CUDDLE WITH MEEE!!!

  • HOLY Crap!

  • lol, the horse knows waz up

  • god i love the horses facial expression

  • i herd in the Original Fairtale of Beauty and the Beast Belle wanted a Rose so her Father Really set out to get his Daughter a Rose and he stumbled upon the Beast Castle and takes a rose from the Beast Garden which Reall Pist off the Beast

  • yup.

the old movie of beauty and the beast has that story

  • so my pont is why did they change it

  • good point...

I guess it's because this version makes the beast more lovable. (and that's typical Disney)

if you get what I mean...

  • yes i get the ponint and Besides this version is way cooler

  • the scene where Belle Father gets lost in the woods and gets chase by wolves reminds me of the Legend of Sleepy Hollow when Ichabod Crane gets lost in th wood on his way home from the Van Tassels and gets chase by the Headless Horseman and dang i wish Diseny did the Legend of Sleepy Hollow in the 90s instead of the 40s or 50s

  • I don't know why, but one of my favorite scenes is when Maurice first sees the castle and goes in.

  • Phillipe looks like a clydestale.

  • r you fuckin stupid. hes a belgian draft. dumbass

  • )= aaww the old man )=

  • This scene scared the hell out of me when I was a little kid

  • LOL!!!! (3:44)

  • Crap, I had to go get my computer fixed, and I forgot to save the movie on a disk :C.

I'll get it on again and get the scene. Maybe even just put the whole movie on here. If I do, should I do it in sections, or have it in one video?

  • please do put the whole movie on

  • please put the whole movie if you can!

  • do it in sections, it'll be harder for youtube to delete?
