There's not very much advantage to doing this, though. Since they just ported over the gas system from the same place where it normally runs from, the rate of fire of the entire system is just the same as one M16. Each rifle only fires 1/3 as fast, but you just have more guns. You can see and hear this on their debut video of this weapon.
People, instead of asking, " why make a triple m16?", why not ask," why not?!?!" it is a show, not of should we do it? It is a show of , can it be done, and can we mass produce it and make it functional. If you don't like what they do, why do you watch the videos. i watched the whole episode on tv... they said they DIDNT invent this so chill out brah... they made it work and thats all that matters. i think there best thing was they Watercooled the gas chamber of the M16 from 700 somethin degrees down to like 82.

@SpEeDFrEeK005 As for the "shoulder fired" Browning 1919 NO ,once again they did not invent this weapon. I urge you to look things up before you make such a comment. Do look at the 1919A4 & 1919A6. Not a 100% shoulder weapons, but they still predate by far their ever so glorious invention. Note that most of the "cool" rails & fore grips they added where purchased ON LINE and NOT made in their shop. Oh, they did cut down the barrel & rework the action, but look what it did to the weapon.

Nor did they "invent" or prefect the first "commercially" available INTEGRALLY (not internally & no that is not semantics) suppressed AK47. Look ,I am not trying to get in to any Youtube pissing matches here. I am just pointing out that a show that I had a great deal of hope for has failed in MY eyes. By all means please watch it & enjoy. Just please do not hang on their every word as it is only a TV show.

Now I will give you the benefit of the doubt that you are stating that they made a "Better" shotgun SUPPRESSOR, but I doubt that is what you meant. Shotgun Suppressors have been around, though maybe not perfected, for MANY years. Yes, they have also been mounted on semiautomatic, semi/automatic capable shotguns before. Just ask the Russian who can truly take credit for the automatic Saiga.

@scramyouok Hiram Maxium made suppressors that is true..but the suppressor for the shotgun didnt actually work...many people have tried to make suppressors for the shotgun but they never actually worked either...ok it is true that this wasnt their idea but they made it work when no one else could

I do need to make the point that quite a few others did indeed make shotgun suppressors for single shot, pump action, semi & select fire shotguns that worked VERY well and have been doing so for many years. I am not going to sit & list them or put up links because this is where I would like to see people do some of their own research. Sorry.

Shot an M16 in cambodia, and have to say it was one of the worst guns I have used. The AK47 was the complete opposite. I would go to war with the AK but not the M16.
