amazons are not that mean guys, they have a bad rep. but can be tamed without too much trouble.....ive had three so far all perfectly tame. i currently only have 1 young yellow male but he's a little puppy dog

All snakes are "not that mean" if you take proper care of them. But as far as snakes go, amazon tree boas are aggressive and won't hesitate to defend their selves.

true, but from personal experience i've found that amazons are pretty chill. obviously some individuals are more aggressive than others, but in general i've found them to be pretty calm

I think that most people here dont realise how tame this amazon tree boa is. Its one thing to handle one but to be wiggling your finger in front of its head like that without it biting you is really something special. You have great ATB my friend!

wow, ilove amazon tree boas,this is the most divese animal on the planet. both parents can be the same color,and everyone of there babies can be a different color. i tried to breed these snakes for almost three years with no success?only nature can produce such variation and diversity.
