After Jake learns that his brother Jess had just beat up Jo, Jake goes to the construction site where Jess is at and Jake and Jess get into a fight on a floor of this building and the both of them fall off. Jake lands on Jess and Jess dies. Other than a few cuts and bruises. Jake is OK PLUS the side of the the apartment complex where jake lives did NOT hardly have any damage so he is able to stay in his apartment although Amanda says it has intermittent water and power.

No died in the explosion. Except for Jake's brother who died during the fight at the construction site, from what I remember.

Janes gets new business partners Mackenzie / Hart and Richard Hart is played by Patrick Muldoon. He and Mackenzie are married but it is not public and he and Jane are having an affair. Mackenzie walks into the apartment complex to confirm her suspicions that Richard and Jane are having an affair JUST AS Kimberly is about to blow the place up and Mackenzie is killed in the blast. So there were TWO deaths in season 3 from the bombing, Jakes brother Jess, and Richards wife, Mackenzie Hart .

That woman was Richards wife Mackenzie Hart...Jane had become a designer for Mackenzie Hart designs and Jane and Richard were having an affair and Mac ( Mackenzie ) walked into the apartment complex just as crazy Kimberly set off the bombs. So she died and also Jakes brother Jess died in but not in the apartment explosions. Jake went to retaliate for Jess beating up Jo. They got into a fight at this construction site and they both fell off a high floor and Jess died, Jake landed on him.

Ha! I remember that episode! It was supposed to be the final scene of the last episode of the previous season but had to be moved to the premiere because of the Oklahoma City bombing. I remember being mad about it 'cause it was so inconsistent. Why did I watch this show again?

@nshabsfan4life Yes you're correct, It was supposed to be the season ender, but the Oklahoma bombing made them decide to cut it off right before the explosion as the season finale until they could decide if they could air it at all, which I'm glad they did. That was a smart move in my opinion.

Come on Kim was so crazy it was great! They couldn't kill her off yet. It was like the Dynasty Moldavia Wedding - the peak of the show. Where only minor characters died. Although, season 4 lost steam it was still good. It was season 5 with everyone leaving that it got bad. And season 6 was horrible. Season 7 was okay and getting better again, but then they canceled it.

Bloody ridiculous! All those explosions and the worst thing that happens is Alison is temporarily blinded.... everyone else gets a few token scratches and cuts. Oh, and the aging designer married to Richard gets killed off.... And yet they make her injuries look like everyone elses, she just gets blown around a bit by the blast... So how did Amanda, Jane, Sydney et al survive what is pretty much made to look like exactly the same thing...? Weird.
