I have rarely ever cried out of either physical of emotional reasons. But this, this beautiful piece and the show accompanying it...this made me tear up perhaps as never before. I'm in love with this piece because of all of the feeling into it. Rarely are there such compositions to make the heart feel as it does mine. This...Elfen Lied...this has left a beautiful mark, and nothing will erase it. This reminds us of our nature. If you've seen it, amazing. If you haven't, do so. This is amazing.

such a beautiful song. The show is also awesome. I'm a 14 year old boy and my cousin subjected me to the show, and I was already impressed by the sheer amount of gore... I can't remember the first one, but there were two episodes that made me cry! My gf giggled when we told her that I cried, then we told her that we would laugh when she burst into tears in the last episode. We are currently still waiting for that chance... anyway, again... beautiful song, great show. 'nuff said! :D

Interesting, because for me, most of the time, it makes me think of situations which I fear most of all, makes me think of acts which restore light(figuratively) and goodness in hypothetical situations where sadness reigns...
