Thanks for the post. This part of the park has been in need of repair for some years. Although the Stitch show was an epic fail. Its already being replaced. As for the old stage and SM, The old stage was falling apart and was not ok to perform on anymore, it went down for safety reasons, And SM has not been renovated since it was opened (all of the others have) and was breaking down at least 3 times a week. Hope to see more, if you can.

Space Mountain will be close until November 21, 2009. The monorail, you may have been thinking Disney Land, I have not heard anything about WDW's monorail, but you may be right. I will look into it further.

the monorail isn't closed. unless you are thinking of the one in the video. that is the tomarrowland transit authority. what they are doing to space mountain is refurbishing it. they are giving the park several facelifts. i went in june and the fronteerland train station was being redun, the outside of its a small world, 2 buildings on main street, the tomarrowland stuff, and the hall of presidents(they were adding obama)
