Its funny how the graphics of the Golden Axe games got worse as each game was released, they were going backwards in terms of graphics. Golden Axe 1 had the best graphics, this looks a lot worse. If there was a Golden Axe 10 it would have Atari 2600 graphics

I really wondered what it would have been like if they ported Golden Axe: Revenge Of Death Adder for the Genesis. The first one and that one were the 2 best. The 2nd and 3rd fell wicked short, and the Duals for Saturn and the more recent one just plain sucked!
It's different villain for all the three games. Death Adder was the last boss in the first game, then Dark Guld was your target in Golden Axe 2 and Damud Hellbringer is in Golden Axe III (this video clip). The Revenge of Death Adder (Arcade) is set between GA2 and GA3 and also include Death Adder like the first game.

dude you should do a run with Chronos. his f,b,f move rapes the last boss (as well as everything else in the game). it's very easy to beat the game w/ one life with him. the last boss will only get 1 or 2 magics off, not enough to kill you
I just played through the game myself, trying to spam as much as possible as you did, walking the same path but with the cat trying to only use the forward, back, forward, attack+jump (projectile) and without the use of magic. I only lost ONE life =P, and the only reason I lost it was because this was my first try to spam and I didnt know hot to projectile when there was a gap in the middle of the screen at 7:00 at the fourth part of your playthrough. Next time I try this I wont lose any lives^^
Thank the Maker for Emulators! I love this game; any who say it is the worse in the series need to pull their heads out of their asses. No other Golden Axe game has such a vast amount of moves for you to do, and the co op is the best in the series as well.

good run. I think the panther is the best character in the game. He's an amazing crowd clearer with his neutral B+C move, which has invincibility frames, hidden reach, great priority, and hits both ways. Second, his special is the best move in the game. It is THE best boss killer. No boss can interrupt that move, plus it's unblockable. I can beat the first last boss without taking a scratch because the panther's special jumps over adder's ground wave, and hits him out of any axe swing.
You must get to the last level with I think at least a B rating. Since you get the bad ending, that must mean you kept dying a lot and were probably on your last continue.

download a genesis emulator then the rom for it. look for Fusion 3.5, its pretty good. it runs genesis, 32x, sega cd, etc.
