my lashes are pretty long on their own, so when i apply mascara my lashes look to dramatic for everyday. i have been looking and trying out all sorts of mascaras and i just cant find one that will give me perfect lashes without looking to dramatic.is their any mascara that would give me less length but more volume?

@Kayakp the mascara doesnt really matter, what matters is the brush, I would go for a thin brush and dont apply it more than twice, just use it to define it a lil bit. Hope this helps you!

@kell22100 hey, i think my skin is lighter than yours, but i have hazel eyes (more brown than green) and i use white eyeshadow and it makes my eyes pop, so i think you should maybe try the lighter colors. and also, if you find a light eyeshadow that you really like, line your entire waterline it helps your eyecolor pop(:

@3FrozenAngel3 Try the elf one. You can get it at Target and it's only a dollar. It works great in my opinion. Might want to pick up 2 or so because there isn't a whole lot of product in them, but honestly, theres probably not going to be a whole lot of product in any of them. But for a dollar, you can afford to get multiple primers. :) Hope I helped!

The only way I could ever get the products that she buys from Saphora (sp?) is if I left my teeny-tiny town of Niceville and went to a big city like tallehasse, Jacksonville, Tampa, Miami, Gainsville, or any big city in florida, all of which are a good 2-12 hour drive from my house... @isabelleramirez20 lighter blues, purples. brown eyes are easy to work with because they go with 99% of colors :) i would go for pastel colors or lighter colors to look very fresh and young while still looking mature :)

Teenagers don't NEED to get high end products when there are good dupes at affordable prices out there; unless of course they have the money for it, I know I would be okay with de-crease but buy UD anyway. Besides skin changes hormonally after birth and aging, maybe that's why it didn't work for you ;)

I have never ever used primer for my eye make up. and my eyeshadows have never creased or faded. plus i do not use high end eyeshadows. whatever foundation i put on, i use a bit on my lids as a base to make the shadow adhere or stick so it does not fade or get creased. honestly there really is no need to spend extra cash on eye primers.

mac soft ocher paint pot-$15

two face shadow insurance- same price as urban decay but i like this one better

claudia stevens lid primer-4.99 (sallys beauty supply)

palladio herbal primer- 7.99

femme couture primer- 8.99

benefit lemon-aid- 20.00 (people say that this isnt great but i think it is it color corrects and eerything)

I have serious blemishes on my chin, nose, and between my eyebrows. The basic T-zone area. I've been to dermatologists and tried many different cleansing products, as well as makeup products to cover my acne. Its so embarrassing, it makes me self conscious. Nothing works. @mitagirl1 You can try using a waterproof eyeliner. If you dont want to do that, try running a Q-Tip softly along your waterline right before doing your liner (this will help to dry off the area to begin with), and you can also try putting a shadow, matching your liner color, over top of the eye liner once you apply it (this will help to set the liner and make it more intense as well as last longer)
