RC has come a long way, I was a kid in the 50's and watched my dad build many models.....no iron on material to cover the balsa frame... , all lacquer and paint over stretched silk....and the transmitter was a 3' high huge box with tubes...touch the antenna at the wrong time and get a hell of a shock......1 click for left 2 clicks for right turn..rudder only flight...
