Arent they worth more money un-peeled due to the circumstances that the unpeeled ones are being peeled?

If you think the original YESTERDAY AND TODAY cover was controversial,another one involving John Lennon surpasses that:His and Yoko Ono's TWO VIRGINS. The pair,stark naked is what shocked many. Many copies were immediately recalled and returned with concealing barriers to record stores. Another one is Guns 'N Roses' APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION. The original cover featured such unsightly animation. Those should have been pasted over with the cross cover. But no one thought about that.

@MrBeatles4life I'm pretty sure there is a way to tell if you concentrate closely on the cover so I wouldn't tear it unless you see the other cover through the pasted one.

i purchased a copy of yesterday and today from ebay for about 15 dollars BIN,when it arrived i was suprised to see it was 2nd state-so i peeled it LOL

@ GamecubeLPs - You can tell if a "Yesterday And Today" cover is a pasteover without peeling it. A real pasted-over 2nd state Butcher will have a very faint black V-shaped object on the right side of the cover. That's Ringo's black turtleneck sweater on the Butcher cover showing through the "Trunk" pasteover. Unpeeled 2nd state Butchers are so valuable now it makes no sense to peel them anymore.

Very cool video! Show that off. I wish I had it! I own every capital release on vinyl and ended up biting the bullet not buying the 'Butcher cover' and just an ordinary version of Yesterday and Today. I couldn't have my collection linger any longer It was a pleasure watching this video.

you can find a genuine copy of this album on ebay, the price depends on the kind of peeled, another ones are avaliable on first state, but very very expensive
