Its as if they first design the exhaust tune, and then build the car around it. Dont get me wrong, the Maserati made cars are great in their own way, but they just seem too posh for what i would look for in a hot coupe.

@M5IAN I think Metcalfe is worth watching, so is Clarkson and the rising star is Chris Harris -- they're all different people and they're not school students being scored or graded relative to each other. They're all good. Clarkson is the most "corporate" (tow the marketing line, never really bash the car makers other than some witty quips.) Metcalfe is the subjective, experienced opinion (good to have people showing us cars we'd never otherwise even see.) And then there's the monkey. : )

Sorry but I disagree. I have to say I rly like both of them. Harry und Jeremy are just extremely different. Harry is the more silent and relaxed type who also give the viewer a lot of info about the car he is reviewing. Jeremy's goal is just to entertain the viewer als much as possible, but I rly like his humor too. That said, it's true that the older Top Gear episodes were better than the newer ones, but nevertheless TG is the best car show aired on TV.

So .. both of em are great! :)

Kind of disappointing that sports cars that cost between $80K-$130K USD have 'meh' performance numbers (excluding the GT-R). It's probably the most realistic price-point for most car enthusiasts, yet it's the least exciting.

It's just that there's nothing really on the market that has respectable performance numbers (458 Italia-like), has Porsche build quality and sounds amazing without spending more than $150K. The closest thing to it would be an R8 V10, which is $149K base.
