Many of the problems we face are because of the incompetency of CCS, IRC and Asian Association; NGOs consuming tax payers money and deliver poor services in return to their Iraqi refugee clients. The case workers have no experience and so unmotivated to assist and help. Iraq is not safe for us to go back to. We do not ask for special treatment. We only ask the community, to put more pressure on NGOs.

Odd how people think the USA is somehow paved in gold. My flight was diverted to land in Los Angeles in July - a trip I make every 3 months. As we flew over Los Angeles I looked over and couldn't believe it WASN'T Mexico City. Taking a tour on foot I saw the poverty & gangsta's & dilapated infrastructure. THIS was TOTALLY the opposite of what I thought the USA was...it looked like a 3rd world. I returned home to Vancouver later & took a deep breath...thank god I"m Canadian.
