what time did you take the vid? There was a large basking shark round the corner at Gwynvor at about 2pm, we were out surfing (and dodging jellies) and a boat was out with some divers were checking him out...they go bloody fast when they want to. Was a cool experience to see it in the water! Well captured on the vid!

Just been to Porthcurno...beautiful place. I did'nt see any basking sharks...I wish I had!

Why does the sign say "beware of the sharks"? I thought basking sharks were harmless.

when we went down the hill to the beach at the life guard station there was a board saying "BEWARE OF THE SHARKS" I just thought it was a joke but there was one! it was really cool to see. From the beach we could only see the fin in the water so I climbed up the cliff towards the Minack Theatre and got a really good view, glad you liked it :)
