I just found a solution for if your phone or pod was already on Unsync....just delete all the current songs you;ve added as far as you can remember you had this problem :)

Well I can see where this would work, UNLESS you have more music in your itunes library than your touch/iphone has capacity for, then what? Who wants to go through the time and hassle of having to erase all your music. This is all apples fault for making products obsolete like a 1rst gen touch, I never got that error until I found it and synced it, and it totally screwed my iphone 4 because of mis-matched OS versions. So basically they want you to throw away aperfectly good touch to get a new 1

I just got my computer reformatted and forgot to get all my music saved and my dad brought it home completely wiped so I have nothing on it, it was okay because I could still put music on the iPod, just not get it from the iPod to the computer. But not I have the Error 13019 and I can't sync it at all and if I restore it all my music will go. Is there a way I can fix it another way or save all my music to the computer? HELP PLEASE, it's driving me insane!

@thevampanezelord rodriguez4710 below made the suggestion of checking your ipod for duplicates. Do you sync manually? If so, look in your ipod's library for any duplicates of the same song or video or movie etc. I did this and it worked!

For anyone that manually syncs their iPod, i had the same error popping whenever i tried to sync my iPod. Check your iPod and see if there are any duplicate songs. For me this was the case, i deleted one of the duplicates. Then when i sync everything works perfectly. So check if you have any duplicates.

It does not work. Ive had this problem before and what you and most have suggested did not work. I went through various processes of unsyching and resynching, restoring and even updating. Finally from some stoke of luck it worked again. Now about a month later I am having the same issues. I refuse to restore my Ipod again. The last time I did that, It totally messed up my music. Wrong artwork everywhere, wrong music under the titles and it deletes those songs if you click on them in the library.
