Good info here, I stumbled into this because my controller seems dead to...but the problem is that I struggled to watch this video without screaming and running with my hands up in the air. You move the camera way to much, it's out of focus and many times you only get anything else in the shot but the controller. Also, please try and talk a little clearer because many of us non native English speakers won't be able to fully appreciate your advices. Thanks.

Jesus Christ, this is the craziest video. One thing i really have to stress and i'm sorry if this comes off rude but when you mumble and don't have a really clear speaking voice you should never add gum to the mix.

you dont really need to do any of this. what i did was take some electrical tape and tape the stem UP instead of down like it was doing on its own. this works fine. trust me. unless you want to do it this way.

thats great that you made a video like this so peoplpe can see how to fix this controller. i just finished fixing my wired controller and turns out that we had the same problem. the red wire on my controller snapped.
