Should be able to work out how long it took the boat on the film to pass two landmarks, then calculate the speed, perhaps.

Impossible, my 64 DC with the same engine does 41 knots, and the 68 C i both bigger and heavier.

The speedo was giving '45', but I suspect it was MPH (although carried away in the excitement I defaulted to knots!). I did mention before I put the throttle down that ideally you use a GPS on this kind of test, as boat speedo's can sometimes be inaccurate. This test was fairly impromptu, so we had to go on fitted instruments, but the 68C was certainly a very quick boat! I hope you enjoyed our look around the Yamarin even if we can't confirm the top end.
