I once popped an airbrake in an emergency landing excersise. My C.O. was not happy, but she didnt kick me out. Idk but in the USAF we dont have FCS overides in the cockpit only a technician can overide from the outside.

Yeah that seems like a fair call. I would have at least said something about the FCS warning. I would have been called back but I would hate to get that slap of the "as soon as the red book out you should have been talking to me".
