  • Thanks for sharing this recipe. I love Haupia. My friend who is hawaiian would make this specially for me every holiday since it is my favorite hawaiian food. I generally make it the Thai/Vietnamese way of using agar-agar and no reg. milk. Never done it this way. Will try to make it next time using your way.

  • thank you so much for this!! its my favorite dessert <33

  • I'm eating it right now and it tastes damn good considering that I had only a cup of coconut milk... It's amazing how it thickens so fast! Thanks! Cheers from Italy!

  • This stuff is soooo good!

I ate three pieces at a luau.....and wanted more.

  • can you you add shredded coconut ?

  • What a cutie! You need to start your own cooking show.

  • i miss hawaiiiiii

  • do you speak hawaiian?

  • Not fluently...in fact hardly at all. I took it in college for two years but only remember words not sentence structures. Sorry.

  • ohh haha ok(:

    but thanks anyway.

  • wow, i use a diffrent recipe,

    && i dont use a blender lol,

but i could attempt to do it this way.

oh yah btw, goya is not a good coco milk.

no offense, but it looks yummy(:

  • LoL.....yeah. So I later figured out that a blender was not needed. Trial and error. And goya isn´t bad at all. Coconut milk selection is limited when you live in jersey. :) Thanks for watching! Oh, would you mind giving me your recipe?

  • umm jersey??

omg, all this time i thought you lived in the 808 lol.

haha, but my recipe, i WAAAAAAAAAAAAY more diffrent then yours, because i use real coconuts hahaha. like no kid. like 10 cocos for 1 cup coconut milk. but if i dont use real coco's then i use the one from the can.

but umm yah. it's pretty much the same as yours.

  • Damn, now I'm hungry lol

  • Omg I looooooooove haupia! I haven't eaten it in years... D: Looks so good, yeah?!

But thanks, now I know how to make it without the instant pack kine ;]

  • haha i LOVE IT! looks like a real cooking show! i love the transitions and the hawaiian music in the bg too. you are the next aunty marialani.
