You gave us a simple but splendid creative technique to recycle our plastic items. It is nice to know we artists can contribute even more to our environment by recycling--- even as we are create our art. Thank you very much!!!
This is great...now I know why I have been saving all those plastic bags & wrappers (from various ethnic foods).all these years..!!! I would like to see some ways that you use the finished fused pieces...how to you incorporate them into other things.?...or how do you "present" them in a final format? great video thanks for sharing it!
Sorry for delay in replying. Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it. I've been working on some vids but my cameras gone abit funny on me (hence delays of new videos). When you have your wrappers/plastics fused you can sew them together to make sheets of material which you can then cut into patterns and make things from. When my camera is fixed I will put a video up of it. Hope that gives a couple ideas for you :)
Hi there. I selected parts of text/words from plastic bags and cut these out seperately. If I can't find a particular word then I simply find the letters, cut those out and make a word. Hope that helps :)
This is AWSOME... I never thought of doing this before.... Thank you so much for the great idea :)
