Racist defined: positively its a lover/proficient of ones races, similar to pianist: lover/proficient with pianos. However, usually defined as one with POWER/ability to IMPOSE ones race on another (as a superior). Contrasted with Prejudice/bigotry: to prejudge/have preconceived ideas. Racism implies having the POWER to impose ones race vs prejudice which is only belief/talk. Farrakhan/NOI do not have the power to be racist; they can be prejudice.

The NOI teaches Islam and the followers are muslims. Islam means peace and the NOI has minimal to no record of violence in it's history. Muslim means to submit to the will of God and the NOI members submit; all members take the Shahada; The NOI primary religious book is the Qu'ran; they adhere to the 5 principles of Islam (Belief in one God/Allah, Salat, fasting, zakat and Hajj to mecca).
