Now if anyone remembers the cereal "Grins, Smiles, Giggles and Laughs," (which also tasted like Capn Crunch only shaped like smiley faces) and can direct me to an old commercial of that, I'll be their BFF. <3 <3
I feel almost traitorous to my generation that I hardly remember Quisp at all, let alone that awesomely sassy little commercial. But my best friend rememebers Quisp fondly and asked me to search for some commercials on YouTube. Success!
Quisp...
Knitting...
In space...
I especially like the sound his knitting makes starting at or about :30 into this epic.

In the 1960s, was ANYTHING made without the use of mind-altering chemicals, apart from the ones used in Quisp cereal?

I first saw this ad on a TV commercial CD-ROM, long before Youtube. Boy I would love to eat some, and maybe Quake!!!

Commercial was made by Jay Ward, of Bullwinkle and Underdog fame.

Definitely my favorite cereal growing up; thank for a great post that harkens many back to their days of youth.
It's interesting that Quisp can apparently breath and talk in outer space, despite said outer space being totally devoid of any kind of atmosphere.
