i love this band, but one thing that i don't understand is that if their drummer does most of the singing/talking, what's the point of having a singer in the band who only does like 1/4 of the singing? well, 1/2 maybe. i agree that he's a good singer/screamer, but it just seems to have no point of having a guy in a band unless they're going to do all of what their hired to do.

I've seen Atreyu a few times live now and he is an AMAZING screamer live but he isn't the best singer.

And I'm pretty sure he never claims to be a decent singer, but he can hold notes better than most who have recording contracts.

i just wanna say bfmv and atreyu r 2 of my favs and atreyu is way better live. matt don sing enough live and jay is not a good screamer for bullet whereas atreyu has good screamers and the drummer is a badass singer. i have seen them live 3 times so i have a pretty good idea of who is better live.

I dont get why everyone keeps comparing them to a7x.... they're completely different. I don't like sevenfold much cause it just sounds to me like every song (particularly the new stuff) is all the same. Atreyu are really different to anything around at the moment, you can't deny that.

atreyu is an alright band, i will admit that the drummer is amazing at drumming and singing, but alex is not a singer like M.Shadows, and shadows screams without inhaling whereas alex screams by inhaling which is much easier to do, i have noticed on a lot of performances by atreyu that the lead guitarist cant perform his solos exactly like Synyster can...bassist are both good and im sure most would agree but overall i believe that A7X is a better band, and i still like atreyu, but only on album

Atreyu, to me, anyway, is way better. Shadows cans sing and scream and what not, but his voice just knda bugs me. I like jacobs style better, The drummer cans sing and drum, and to end the bassist dispute, Marc is so crazy live, and his scream just makes you piss yourself. So, to me Atreyu is better.
