also, is there any way to tell cod4player to always automatically start the demo with the config applied? it's not really important because i can use keybinds to "exec" the config but would be quite nice! :)

@YummyPornFlakes If you have put it all in the correct place then it will work. Make sure you told cod4player to use moviemod.

You can bind 1 key to exec the config which will be quicker. Eg \bind f5 "exec rockkmovie.cfg"

@IIRockstarrxX sorry to interrupt you again but i now have a different problem. i got everything working for me right now but there's one problem: if i log onto my personal profile to play cod4 it has the movie-config applied. it still has normal colors but the hud is turned off and the fov is very high. maybe it's because i accidentally opened the config as a profile one time before. is there any way to restore the normal config_mp to normal setting so i get my minimap and crosshair back?! :D

@YummyPornFlakes You opened it in the wrong profile before then. You will need to delete the cfg in ur main profile :)

@MatejMikes did you copy the xxx.cfg to the profile that you play on? Also it may not be possible. some of the commands need sv_cheats 1 . which you cant use online

@FLaVeRHD When you open a demo are you sure you are doing it from moviemod profile? (under setup in cod4 player) And are you typing /exec rockkmovie.cfg in the console?

If you do that then it will work. If it doesn't then I don't know what you are doing wrong. Sorry.

@FLaVeRHD I'm not sure why it wont work for you. If you are running the demo's from the moviemod profile and if you type /exec rockkmovie.cfg in console it should work.

Maybe try copying the files over again and if that doesn't work maybe try reinstalling cod 4. I know it has worked for many other's so you must have done something wrong along the way.

can you do a tut on how you do the masking for the +10 for example, and how you disable the hud in black ops but keep the +500 etc?

@HiGGiNZx No tut needed. Either press 9 with cod 4 player or type /cg_draw2d 0 in console (this removes everything)

Then make the +10 and killfeed in Vegas/Photoshop.

@GuIISs3 Yes, that happens with reg scope. I only used Acog so it didn't matter, but in your case you can make a custom scope which will be even cooler :)

@Knightsaregods That is a lot more time consuming and takes up 2 times the disk space, which is unnecessary.

Also the two recordings wont ever be 100% the same so you will be able to see where you masked and it will look bad.

@GuIISs3 Uhm do this, Record 2 clips, One without the HUD and one with, then open the 2 clips in Vegas, Put the layer with the HUD on top of the hudless layer and mask the +10 things out, now you will have a hudless version WITH the +10, you can do the same things for Feeds Etc.
