i absolutely love friends there will never ever be a show like it ever again :) there are all so good but i think that if they made a film about it .. it wouldnt be good .. but another episode is all we need but chandlers in rehab and ross is doing nothing and joey is looking after his daughter and for the girls they all are doing reall well in there careers . :)

@MrCJ1988 It's totally possible for the cast to come together and film a made for tv reunion special. I'd much rather see some Thanksgiving special than a cinematic adaptation or new season. The show was supposed to be about Friends in their 20s and it would seem odd to continue that when they're all married with kids.

@ruffnerr Indeed. A film would be weird and uncharacteristic of television writers, there's a pretty huge difference between writing for tv and cinema just in the layout alone. It could end up being cruddy like the Sex and the City films were. Restarting the series would be pointless, unless they want to try another spin off based on other characters (although it wouldn't be the same show with the same spirit) I can't see what else they'd do.

Friends was much better int he 90's than the last few years

It's a shame they changed the characters so much after the first few years

Monica went crazy, Joey went from being a classic ladies man, to being a complete idiot, Phoebe went from quirky to mentally crazy, Chandler went from being goofy and funny to being pussywhipped by crazy Monica, Ross and Rachel were the only ones who stayed the same
