@turnon55 I'm Chamorro living in Mexico City. Chamorros are very much like Mexicans. Makes sense cuz' our so callled "spanish" heritage actually comes from "New Spain" or what is now Mexico. Maybe in the video it makes us look like the negative mexican stereotype. In reality, the Mexicans are our colonial brothers. And they also contributed to our Chamorro culture in many ways.Titiyas, tamales, atoli, champaladu, chalakilis, etc. Our Chamorro-Spanish dances are more mexican than Spanish. BIBA!

it's a movie. it is subject to criticism. i'm sure the Muña brothers expected criticism. if they can't take it, then maybe they should change their career. there are alot of things that Chamorro people do that I criticize. and i can accept it if people criticize me. this movie doesn't really paint a good picture of guam. they should make a movie about the courage of the chamorros during the war. then i can be proud. just because this is made in guam, doesn't mean i have to be proud of it.

i agree with you islanchamoru. this is STILL America, even if Guam isn't a state. We are ALL entitled to our own opinions. Freedom of speech. Im sure they did put alot of effort into the movie but there's still alot to say. SO let everyone get their word in. Perhaps the criticism will help them to create a better movie in the future.
