I love all Nerina's songs, and this is no exception. However, I hate to say it but wow - what's with the string-squeak? That guitar must have brand new strings on it, I hate playing with new strings cuz of the "squeak" whenever sliding to notes.
Other than that - brilliant as usual - and I love the "li-li-li" and how existential she gets in her lyrics. I'm so addicted to her songwriting skills!!!!
this was nice, but nerina you seem sort of serious since english! i hope you play an upbeat song next! you're awfully adorable when you're cheery. ; )
If I were to name a guitar that belongs to you, I would call it "Blessing" as it is a blessing to hear you play. Or one might call it "Prosperity" as that is surely what it is going to bring you. Were I to put forth a name that is merely aesthetic I would postulate that "Sephael" (pronounced seff-eh-el) has a musical ring and is an angelic name. It would also be apt, as your performances are always heavenly.
I really wish you were coming to tour the US. I've become a huge fan of your music an musicianship over the past few months. if you end up coming to Texas, please let me know. I'll certainly be sure to make it there.
Thanks Nerina! This is my favorite song that you sing. I don't know if it was already on the list or if you added it cause I requested it. But, thank you nonetheless! I hope your album does well.
Cort guitars. Love them. But I only have punk rock fuzzbox solidbody electric thingy (Matt Guitar Murphy edition it says on the bit where the string tighteners are), so it's nice to see an acoustic being played delicately and sensitively. Plus I have to confess I have a rather big soft spot for young Nerina ...
I think Monty's a lovely name for a guitar!

You could call it Squeeky Frome. Percival Penny Whistle. Or just Mr Scrubs.

First time I've heard this one. Didn't know you did C&W! A bit of pedal steel, mandolin, banjo or all 3 would sit well, oh and throw in a yee-hah!

Wonderful, Nerina, i'm waiting on my copy of your new album coming in the post.
Hopefully it'll arrive tomorrow.
I first discovered you when you released your second album, i then bought your first and last month, your Junebug EP.
All Brilliant :) .
Watching your acoustic videos, here, i already know your new album will be as brilliant as everything you've done before.
I live in Ireland and i'd be very happy if you'd add a concert here, as i don't see any dates listed, right now.
